panu pala kung hx5 yung yung inilagay na oil tapos top-up hx7, minimal amount lang naman. masama ba yun? tia
That is a good oil, But there are plenty that are just as good for a lower price.
You can mix oils, All it does is change the additive package ppm ratio. Mixing 10w40 with 15w40 will barely effect the overall viscosity of the oil. The mixing of oil thing is a old wives tale. It's best to stay in the Same API rating or you will reduce the overall additive package depending on the brand.
Mixing different weights will reduce the overall viscosity of the oil.
What do you guys suggest para sa GS CRDi? I guess sayang binili ko last OC ko nag mobil 1 TDT ako eh wala naman DPF at tinanggal ko cat. 440 ata bili ko sa cash and carry. Nabasa ko na okay yung delo 400? Pati zic up. Base oil doesnt matter since 5000km oci naman po ako. Just making sure i dont waste my money again on oil na hindi ko naman kailangan. Thanks po![]()
Ah yeah nabasa ko yun sir. I guess price and accessibility ang magiging deciding factors. Thanks sir![]()
Mobil 1 ESP Formula M 5W-40
Mobil 1 0W-40 Advanced Full Synthetic Motor Oil
Which is better? Seller says 0W-40 is for Euro cars. 5W-40 ESP is more suitable for Philippine conditions (ie dirty fuel, etc..)
I just plan to use this on my Toyota and Subaru engines. Subaru FB20 requires fully synthetic now.
thanks!
my vote goes to 0w40... top of the line from mobil 1 range of products...
oil that holds up better under the high heat and oxygen present in the crankcase, a quality called “oxygen stability.” Since this means a reduction in the portion of the oil that is susceptible to oxidation, it actually reduces the acids in the crankcase.
though the zinc and phosphorus are not high as compared to previous line up,, mobil 1 has those ashless additives... which makes it retain TBN longer...
depende kasi sa market...
the ESP are suited for EURO type of cars and consumers who are super concern about emissions and the environment...
while the 0w40 are generally regarded as all around performer...
dahil global leader and mobil sa retail nang engine oils, madami sila line up for different markets and different cultural preferences by consumers...
