I read in the Toyota thread that the OEM Toyota oil is same as Caltex. Kung ganon, Delo Gold or Delo Gold Ultra din pala ang OEM Toyota diesel oil?
AFAIK, yes, Toyota oils are repacked Caltex oils. but if they are using DELO, im not sure.

Thanks sir. Maybe some tsikoters would know. Compare ko kasi price. Sa Toyota, OEM diesel mineral oil sells for Php202/Li.
just buy DELO to be sure. it was posted here naman that DELO is a very good diesel engine oil.
Check the viscosity rating on the Toyota oil. All Delo (Gold, Gold Ultra, 400) are all SAE 15W-40.

At that price it is most likely Delo Gold only.
I wonder why casas would more often refer to time instead of milage on PMS ? They would always tell customer your next PMS will be after 5000 kms or 3 months which ever come first. Eh kung hindi naman gamitin yung kotse so time would come first before mileage. Is it more a commercial thing for them or there is a logical explanation to this? Hindi naman napapanis or dumudumi ang langis kung hindi nagagamit ang kotse.
Any one care to explain? TIA
Went to Concorde yesterday and Saw DELO Sport. Anyone have use this FS oil?
Delo sport is a good oil. http://www.auto-rx.ph/pdf/Caltex%20D...W-40%20PDS.pdf
But their Honda Synthetic Oil is 600/liter. Mobil 1 0W40 is 500/liter. Go figure.
^ Semi-synth lang delo sports. Pero mukhang Delo 400 na nga ipinalit nila dyan kasi mahina sales niyan. Same price kasi sa distributor dito yan, P248/ltr. Kaya siguro nag-sale din sila ng Delo Sports.
Choose oil also by readily available data sheets. If it's gonna be a looong trek to find out the HTHS, TBN, 40&100deg viscosity, base oil comp/group#, SAE/ACEA rating, they're possibly not worth mentioning by Marketing and it's not worth it. Look the other way. It's a blessing that group 3 euro oils can't be called synthetic, afaik.
