Lube oil consumption depends on engine design and motor operating conditions. Dieselnet is a good source.

    Typical oil consumption values for pre-1980s engines were 0.46 g/kWh (0.34 g/bhp-hr; 0.25% of fuel consumption), pre-1990 engines ranged between 0.33-0.48 g/kWh (~0.15 - 0.20% of fuel consumption).

A test on a number of 2002 heavy-duty and medium-duty engines in the US yielded an average of 0.22 g/kWh (0.1% of fuel consumption).

Year 2007 heavy- and medium-duty engines consume on average 0.08 g/kWh (around 0.03% of fuel consumption)

PUJ pa, so mura dapat talaga diesel oil vs gas oil because of economies of scale.

Yung Delo 400 ang puwede mo na tawaging semi-syn due to higher concentration of group III oils and additives. Sulit na actually DGU is not more than 10,000kms COI IMO.

i read the PDS of DGU last night, sabi dun "caution due to higher than normal ash additives" check with your manual...
natuwa ako dahil mataas ZDDP niya against others, kaso IMO parang mas matagal mag darken talaga yung mga group III eh, observation ko lang...

Mura yan. Just buy from reputable stores and check to be sure thats its the real deal. Both brands are too famous na may fake na din.

rereading this thread and now im more confused. hehehe

im planning to use delo gold on my next oil change. afaik, as long as the zinc (zddp?) is below 1200 ppm, my cat converter is safe.

may nagsabi delo gold has 1200ppm but when i checked the msds 1300 ppm daw. ano ba talaga?

Ill be using it on my vios.

Mineral , semi synthetic or fully synthetic?
