The difference between Honda Genuine oil filter that is being supplied to the Philippines market is that it is coming from Thailand, HAMP filter is mainly for the American and Japanese domestic markets the HAMP brand oil filter is Made in Japan by the OEM supplier of filters to Honda so quality is superb and same as the Genuine Honda filter that is Made in Japan, you can find the filter from F2 ZIC dealer in FB F2 - ZIC / Kixx Dealer - Home | Facebook. Also forgot to mention that this F2 Autoparts also handles Nissin brake pads which are OEM to Honda vehicles.
Meron nga before sa honda BGC made in Thailand na oil filter OEM pero super mura. Ewan ko kung available pa doon now.

I have been using VIC for a long time,
so that is why it's one of the lowest types pala
orig from casa vs orig (daw) from suki auto supply

Bumili ako Bosch oil filter sa Lazada for the ASX. Mga 200+ ata bili ko. For the FXT, stock Subaru pa rin kuha ko from Fusion R.
I posted a question on one of lazada's seller saying "oil filter appears to be fake" and seller responded that he will check with his supplier daw. He didn't even bother defending his merchandise.. haha..
Mukang kapareho naman nung sa Erti I got from casa. Siguro kung fake na ginamit lang yung name pero functions as the same eh medyo ok na hehe. Pero mantra sa work ko dati eh, when in doubt i decline mo..

Salamat.
In my opinion, those viscosity are thicker than needed for a Civic EK. Fuel efficiency would suffer a bit. With my 2001 Accord before, I use either 5w40 (Shell HX7) or 10w40 (Valvoline) semi-synthetic. You can also use the 10w30 mineral oil from Honda. Another good suggestion is Zic 10w40.
