that's because people wouldl rather buy a cellphone than splurging 6K on something that wont work. atleast sa cellphone magagamit.

From what I remember, there were only two guys who are non-automotive in background who "claims" your device works. Of course, he did also said he "tested" the effects of the device (after it was installed) by driving up and down Macapagal Hiway and then claiming a big improvement in fuel milage. Like duh! :puyat:

    Talk is definitely cheap.

Pag hindi alam ang pinagdadadaldal, tumahimik na lang kasi. Huwag nang hintaying mapahiya sa madla, 'di ba, vixen?

Here..try reading this. A dealer from another forum can't seem to answer the same queries about the product.

Guys ito findings ko on KHAOS for using it for almost 2 months.

5% improvement for gas savings in Hi-way driving.
10 to 15% improvement for gas savings in CITY driving under HEAVY traffic. (like EDSA during Christmas)

for consolation my 5.4L expedition never drop below 5Km per liter with the KHAOS installed. I used to get as low as 4Km per liter of gas. (gasoline used was performa of PTT)

Using a better gasoline like BLAZE can achive more fuel savings compare to KHAOS.

I can get 7Km per liter Hiway using BLAZE compare to the 6Km per liter using PTT. but I bet the BLAZE keeps the engine cleaner.

Dati kasi gamit ko PTT dito sa clark pero not worth it even if we are paying them for tax free. (cheaper by 2 pesos before but not only cheaper by 1.50)

I think i can get better fuel consumption if I use IRIDIUM plugs which I will try this coming Feb 05

er... trying not to sound harsh but....

I think you can save more money simply by getting another car (like a good condition Toyota Echo hatch 1.3L) for daily driving. That should get you 12km/L city driving and much more on the highway. That's equivalent to 70% savings in gas consumption.

Trust me, ghostie, that when you own an Eddie Bauer Expedition, "saving money" for money's sake isn't quite the issue.

If I had a guzzler like that (and I do, but 4.6L lang), you still want to save gas when you can....

For my mother, riding in cars like that, despite the consumption, is worth it -- no more back pains, arriving at her destination not feeling tired ready to give a talk, etc.

If that were the case (just trying to save gas at the expense of some creature comforts, and --for some-- the "bongga" factor of having a big car), lahat tayo naka motorcycle na lang, haha!

P.S. puede ba sa TACP kung naka Toyota engine (pero hindi Toyota the rest of the car?) Hehehe...

Hi Ghosthunter a diesel car would even be better if I'm after the fuel consumption savings. I have 2 units of MB300SD and they rock when it comes to fuel savings, safety and comfort. but I think KIA Picanto can easily out save the ECHO or my MB300SD.

For KIA I think it can manage 20km on Hway runs.

But I like my EB for long drives and for me I feel safe and comfortable using a big rig as I shuttle from the metro to region 3 daily and clocks up about 200 kms.

I've seen numerous accidents in the past year on the Hway and one of the big advantage using a bigger rig is during collission ( which I've experience before ). but you can argue this things is no good when it comes to rollovers anyways I feel safe on this and no money can substitute for peace of mind

You should refer to my earlier post on this thread as I mention that the KHAOS installed in my rig is for my own curiosity only and I just going to share my experience here once I get results.

Gas is not an issue for me I just want to know if KHAOS have fuel savimgs or not.

If you ask if there in any increase in power the answer is NONE that I can feel.

As for toxic emission that is another issue which I can't conclude.

I mentioned Toyota Echo because of two things:
    - fuel efficient 1.3 engine (same engine in the Vios 1.3)
    - better resale value because of rareness than a corolla 1.3 of the same year.

About the Khaos gas saver, I wanted to buy one for my son's car, a Hyundai Matrix, but he felt that the price was too steep. So I went to the Internet to do some research on this topic of fuel savers and got into the US EPA test result on the "RAMJET", a US-made gas saver. They found it to be uneffective. So, I decided, based on the principles stated by the EPA, to make one myself. I installed it in the Matrix and now, he gets 10 kpl when he used to get only 7 kpl.

well, basically anyone handy with tools can make one. All you need is a small filter (crankcase vent filter or scooter air intake filter will do fine), some tubing & proper fittings to attach said filter to your air-intake (post air-sensor).

In case you run too lean (duh!), you can also make this adjustable by adding a simple air-valve (like from an aquarium).

Of course any method of making your engine run lean will increase harmful emissions of NOx gasses.

btw, this kind of engine modification voids factory warranties.

U are right! However, if the proper amount of additional air is given only on demand, then running lean is avoided. If you run lean, overheating would result and no overheating has been experienced at all. The valve used came from a model airplane engine.

ghosthunter, I believe the installed product can give zero pollution is quite possible. Sinabi ba nila umaandar ang makina? O, kung naka off ang makina, e di, zero pollution nga!

Considering the number of happy consumers of khaos, its a wonder why there are also a lot of unhappy users as well. If the product is really that good, you would hardly hear any complaints. And if the product really works, Mr. Planas would have made adjustments so that his product will work as claimed, and not just removed and the money refunded. Any refund means walang pag-asa, hopeless, ika nga.

That's the beauty of any product that makes such warranties. It lulls the consumer into thinking the product is really good. But then again, how many pinoys would go and claim the refund, if claiming the refund means you end up spending more rather than just removing the said product from your engine and throwing it away. The best consumer ang pinoy... ang lokohin. Kung sa america pa ito, wow...
