Hybrid is the way to go. So you don't rely heavily on the batteries.

Parang yung etron ata, not sure sa yr model yung nakita ko sa yt na hindi mabuksan yung hood dahil walang charge main battery.
Low bat din yung 12v battery, purpose sana to open the hood was to replace the 12v battery.
Ayaw magbukas, hindi ko natapos paano nila na solutionan yung pag install ng 12v battery para gagana ulit yung pagbukas ng doors.

i am sure the manufacturer had this in mind...
it probably has a physical key for a physical un-lock somewhere...

That's typical of a lot of new high-end cars these days. I'm sure there's a physical override, owners just need to make sure to read the manual sometime before the 12V battery dies.

    Lexus LS 500h Premier 4-Seater – P 11,158,000 (from P 10,508,000)

    Lexus MPVs

Bakit hindi kasama ibang hybrid models? (Yaris Cross HEV, Altis?)
I assume the new Corolla cross already factored-in the price reduction sa SRP niya.

ASEAN made Hybrids already sold without import tariffs thanks to ASEAN FTA. The EO only covers Hybrids made elsewhere.

kudos for TMP to lower the price. Now the question is can regular consumers get these models at the new price before another price increase.
I dont think you will be able to get the Toyota Alphard Hybrid even at the old price.
knowing Toyota dealers and their unscrupulous tactics.

Heard two different rumors this morning:

    Rumor 1:
The Civic e:HEV is coming next year; similar powertrain as the US version -- supposedly can do 0-100 kph in just over 6 secs

    Rumor 2:
It's not the Civic coming but the HR-V e:HEV, which will be the same one as what Thailand has but w/ a midcycle facelift, they are targeting a price under ₱1.9M
