    Nasa’sayo yan kung ano mas trip mo. Pareho lang naman sila. Difference is may clutch yung isa. Yung isa torque converter. Pero pag dating sa mga paakyatan kagaya sa baguio, para sakin mas okay M/T kasi madisiskartehan mo pa pag namatayan ka or wala ka jumper cable. Kesa sa A/T hehe just my opinion.

    Tatlo na kakilala ko na may M/T fortuner(1st gen) na iisa ang scenario sa Baguio, nawalan ng power yung mga fortuner nila sa ahunan kahit Anong piga sa gas pedal, lalo na kapag nawalan ng bwelo sa Traffic, pina check nila sa toyota pero hindi rin maipaliwanag ng casa kung Bakit, Hindi rin naman sira ang mga Scv nila at ok rin naman mga air filter nila.

    baka driver error bro. kasi piga ka nga ng piga sa gas, di naman tama release ng clutch eh talagang mag stall ka; kahit anong auto pa yan.

    pero nkakapag taka iisa sila ng scenario. Yung isang fortuner na actual ko literal na walang power. As in kahit pagalitin yung rev sabay bitaw ng clutch walang power umaatras lang sa ahunan kaya nilalagyan pa ng Kalso.

    There are different types of automatic transmissions (torque converter, CVT, dual clutch). The dual-clutch AT uses clutches also, two in fact. Most modern automatics shift gears faster than what humans can do.

    I have driven automatics for some time now and I never had any issues dealing with inclined roads.

    it is how you use or abuse it.
    my 2005 5MT is at over 120K km already. it is still the original that came with the car from the factory.
    my 2003 4AT is over 100K km, and still shifts fine.

    If usual route ma traffic then AT na, if open road most of the time, masarap pa din mag MT.

    Well that' s odd. Are they well maintained? Overdue transmission or differential fluid replacement? O kaya paubos na ang clutch nila? Our Revo diesel has never lost power in Baguio at Kennon pa ako lagi. Climbs everything like a mountain goat. And we all know kung gano kakupad yan hehe

    Yes nag tataka rin kame sabay kami pumanik yung innova rin namin na M/T walang bitin sa Baguio. by that time bago pa yung mga sskyan nila at casa maintained naman. Yung isa don nag be break in lang sa Baguio na disappoint din siya sa Fortuner nya simula non hindi na ipinanik ng Baguio.
