That's because it's Ceramic. Is the V-Kool K14 metallic (magic tint)? Most magic tints will have a better TSER than ceramic tints at the same VLT. The advantage that you get with ceramic is no RF interference.

Actually this is one of the key advantage of Sunbloc tints compared to V-Kool.

As per my inquiries from different shops that carry Sunbloc tints, there are 3 types of tint; Carbon Ceramic (4-5k), Ultimate Ceramic (11-12k) and Non Plus Ultra (15-17k).

We decided to get the Non Plus Ultra from South Casa. The tint comes with a 12-year warranty.



I can't comment on comparison to other brands since this is just our first car.

Is the Sunbloc brand recommended? I can't find any other reviews of the different variants of the brand other than the ones they have in their FB account.

I was originally going for the Solargard UP Ceramic but got skeptical because of this review.

Huper Optik seems to be very good but their price is just unreasonable!

depende naman sa budget and sa sasakyan. kung malamig naman ac kahit free tint ok na. marami naman nag aavail ng free tint. then you have 6500-13500 tints and then you step into the highend tints...

Yeah, I guess. Ok pa ko dun sa hanggang 13500 na range. Yung Huper Optik kasi ang quote sakin nasa 24K na. I think that's just too much for me kasi papa Ceramic coat pa ko. I'm just not sure if there are other HU variants that are within my budget. I just sent them a message.

Not sure sir, walk in lang ako last monday and qouted 18k for the ultra series(totl) and 12k for the ultimate series tints(same league as vk70 and huper c70 as they explained.)

May "black" shade sya vs. "Blue" shade ni huper c70 and ultimate series and brownish shade of vk70.

Ceramic based din daw sya so it works flawlessly on my ectag.

Bro ikaw pala nag mention ng Sunbloc Ultra. Seems like a good option for rfid woes with excellent pricing.

I agree. It looks like the most economical Ceramic tint available. Kung metallic din pala ang VKool X at VK series then may signal interference parin kahit to the least extent.

Ang weird lang ng Pcars Auto Accessories. Same lang daw yung price sa kanila ng Sunbloc Carbon Ceramic and Ultimate Ceramic * 6500 wraparound. I'm not sure kung alam nito pinagsasabi niya. Eto pa sabi niya sa text:

"Sunbloc ceramic c-70 clear shade greenish
ceramic c-70 clear bluewish shade
84% heatrejection
ceramic c-35 light medium
85% heatrejection
* 8006 pioneer cor united ang brixton kapitolyo pasig(inside pioneer super market) thanks po sir"

It looks like ang meron lang na shade ng Ultimate Ceramic si Scuff at PCars is yung 70% and 71% VLT kaya mura. Although nung sinend nila sakin (both companies did) yung label dun sa box nung tint nila, same model number dun sa specs sheet pero dun sa isa nakasulat 75% VLT. Again, ang labo

Sunbloc confirmed that PCars get their stocks from them. Pero si Scuff hindi daw.
