Hi guys anyone here have already tried the Carbon Ceramic films from Sunbloc Window Films? Gusto ko lang po humingi sana ng feedback kung ano katapat niya or how does it stack up from 3M and V-Kool nag inquire po kasi ako sa authorized dealer ng Sunbloc i got quoted 3800 for a wrap around of Carbon Ceramic then meron di po ako quotation form 3M CS or BC for 6000 and for V-Kool OEM for 6500.

Sa may fine choice car accessories sir ako nakakuha ng quote for carbon ceramic tint for 3800 address niya is sa may evangelista st, makati. Di nako nag carbon ceramic sir kase wala ako makuha feedback regarding sakanya only got feedback from ultimate ceramic kaso nung nagpunta ako sa fine choice out of stock sila so nag 3M CS nalang ako i got quoted for 3M CS for 4500 wrap around for a honda city 2016 sa may golden bridge it's in makati also sa may filmore st naman near cash and carry. As for the carbon ceramic I think it's on par with 3M FX or higher.

Meron sir Window tinting and window film for your automobile - 3M PH check mo nalang dito sa site na to for reference sa TSER ng 3M CS. Yung 3M CS po is color stable. Meron din siyang different shades CS5 yung pinaka dark na shade, CS20 Medium shade, at CS35 yan ung pinaka light na shade. As for me I got CS35 for the WS and CS20 sa lahat ng windows ko yung CS20 okay na din siya for privacy di na ganon ka kita sa loob siguro silhouette nalang depende rin sa sinag ng araw and for CS35 on the windshield eto na yung pinaka light na shade sakto lang siya for privacy pero mas clear at kita ka especially pag umaga pero pag gabi naman di kana ganon kaaninag galing labas. In terms of visibility inside maliwanag sa gabi yung CS20 kitang kita ko parin yung side mirrors ko and kung ano ung nasa gilid ko looking from the windows. As for carbon ceramic siguro ganon rin siya almost lahat naman ng tint na black shade is meron atang light, medium, and dark shade diko lang sure kung gano kaganda visibility niya from the inside. If malapit ka lang sa evangelista I suggest visiting Fine Choice and ask if meron silang sample so you can check but if your gonna opt for 3M tint i suggest get it at golden bridge kasi mas mura ang quote nila sa fine choice kasi 6k ang quote sakin for 3m tint and sa golden bridge is 4.5k nga they are both authorized 3M & Sunbloc dealers though.

I brought my unit to my SA she helped me a lot to ensure that my complaints are attended by their tints installer. Pumayag na palitan ung front, i schedule na lang. Kudos to my SA and her sales manager, they didn't let me down.[emoji41]

Comparison of 3M CS20 vs Vkool OEM20:

On the area illuminated by headlights, they're pretty much the same. But if you look at the area not lit by headlights (like the upper right corner of the pics), Vkool offers better visibility.

This is explained by the fact that Vkool OEM20 has 19% VLT vs 16% VLT for the 3M CS20. In terms of heat rejection, 3M has the slight edge as it has 52% TSER vs 50% for Vkool. 3M also costs less vs Vkool at around 3k for complete wrapround vs 5.5k.

Should I just get VKool? A20 or X15 na series tinitignan ko sa Vkool. Magkano kaya aabutin?

As per my inquiries from different shops that carry Sunbloc tints, there are 3 types of tint; Carbon Ceramic (4-5k), Ultimate Ceramic (11-12k) and Non Plus Ultra (15-17k).

We decided to get the Non Plus Ultra from South Casa. The tint comes with a 12-year warranty.



I can't comment on comparison to other brands since this is just our first car.

Are these 3 types all ceramic? It's just weird that they have a lower-tier of ceramic tints. For other brands, the ceramic variant usually costs an arm and a leg like the Non Plus Ultra

As far as I know, yes it is. You can ask Sunbloc Philippines to confirm. I also inquired from them (FB page) regarding the shops that carry their products.
