Is Vkool K28 metallic? Is it worth it to replace my 3M CS20 wrap? I liked cs20 both aesthetics & quite satisfied with its TSER but I find it hard to see at night. My previous Altis is just FXST20, no view complains, but I dont know why this CS20 is darker from inside.

FX-ST 20 has 23% VLT and 39% TSER, while CS 20 has 16% VLT and 52% TSER. This is why you see easier with the FX-ST.

Not a fan of Vkool K-series in terms of aesthetics, but heat rejection and visibility are quite good. Personally I wouldn't change (I have CS05 windows and CS20 windshield) but if you have difficulty in terms of visibility, don't compromise safety for aesthetics.

How can one know if the scratches that I see (visible only when checked in direct sunglight) is in the external side of the windshield, in the tint, or because of the ceramic coating? Out of the three possibilities, I'm not entirely sure which one caused it.

Yeah kinapa ko both sides, wala namang rough. Meron ding akong nakikitang hairline scratches dun sa ibang windows and gagawin din daw ulit ni RoadFit. Pero after na lang nung repair nung car ko sa casa.

Yeah, that I know. Pero sabi nga ni Donj from Optimum Impressions, ok lang daw mga two to three swipes of wiper during heavy rain. So that does mean na yung gasgas is dahil sa coating tapos winiper ko?

Haven't backread but if you do a lot of kms in NLEX you're bound to get scratches from sand/pebbles left behind by white sand truckers.

Hmmm, that's a possibility, yes. Though I should be able to discern the roughness of those scratches from the outside by touching them with my fingers, right?

The deeper ones siguro. I've been able to buff some shallow ones out before. Even got a dent one time. Sa kanto pa, di kaya ng PDR. Bad trip hehe

I see. Well, twice na ko naka experience ng nabasag ang windshield ng car ko because of a stone that came flying directly to it while driving in NLEX. Kaya nakakatakot talga yung mga truck na may cover "kuno" sa taas hehe. One car was a Mazda 3 and just a few years ago the Montero.
