Nice car too bro!
They recommend a week of curing but Paul (owner) said to just bring back the car for any complaints. I saw a few hairline scratches on the tint on the driver side too. They're more visible during the daytime. I guess I'm just too OC with these things but I have all the right to be because this tint is considerably expensive.

Has anyone tried the Diamond IR clear tint that some OLX sellers are offering?
Very clear siya and a bit bluish when put side by side with vkool's equivalent which has a greenish hue naman.
Planning to have this installed if ever sa sunroof
its like an open door if the sunroof is open. it will alarm...

San malapit ang hairline scratches? Malapit ba sa frit (black band and dots)? Meron din kasi ako eh sa likod ng rear view near sa frit na dots.
May bubbles akong nakita pero hindi kasi gaano nabibilad yun kotse.

I don't know why but I'm really having a hard time with VLT 05 on my side windows during the night. I don't have problems with them when driving in an expressway but when I do a simple turn on streets, I tend to exert extra focus with my eyes. My eyes are still 20/20. I don't know what to make of this situation.

vlt05 is too dark... like i said.. you need racing skills&agility to be driving with visual impairment.

Where do you look when you turn? I always use the windshield to look when turning. Windows are just for peripheral vision and looking at the side mirrors.
The only time the dark windows prove bothersome is when parking in dark spaces, but the rear cam helps with that (or sometimes I just roll them down).
It's weird that you find it hard cuz my mom who has 300/250 vision drives fine with VLT05. She doesn't have racing skills or agility either. 😁 might just take a bit of getting used to? Of course, if you remain uncomfortable with it, you can always opt for lighter tints.

Well, I primarily look at the windshield, yes. But there are times that say you are in a subdivision, you turn, and there's a man riding a bicycle going in the opposite direction (and perpendicular to) of your turn you would easily them with a lighter shade of side window tint. But yeah, I'll give it some time I think you're right in that I just need it getting used to. It's not like I can have Road Fit change the tint for another shade if I like![]()
What I don't like about OEM20 is that it doesn't look solid black during daylight. Purely aesthetics and privacy.
If 5% is bothersome, you can always go for 20% VLT all around. Safety first of course. Only reason why I went with CS05 is because I feel no difference in driving with 5 or 20 as long as I have VLT 20 for my windshield.
If visibility is a top concern, I would recommed 70% VLT or higher. Looks really great too - makes a car look new even if it's several years old. Great heat rejection too for the top brands.

I have the same tint setup as yours.... CS20 on the windshield and CS05 on the 1st row windows... mine was a bit complicated cos it came with factory tint from the 2nd row windows to the rear glass. So installed CS20 naman over the factory tint (has a CS05 effect). Somehow it looks cohesive naman especially with the piano piano black pillars.
At first i was hesitant with the dark windows.... But surprisingly the CS series is not that dark from the inside. But if you try to look from the outside... even in daytime... privacy talaga!
Hi sir shutterbug
Where did you have your tint applied ? Thanks in adv.
