Drove from tagaytay to Manila last night at 10pm. Walang traffic sa Alabang all the way to C5 exit.

Last night rush hour...

Traffic situation at the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) southbound with tail-end reaching Magallanes due to the installation of temporary steel ramp at Alabang viaduct on Thursday evening.

at 3 pm yesterday, it took me over an hour, from nichols to past alabang tulay.

on my way to Makati from Bicutan at around 7AM today, traffic from the opposite lane (south bound) was really bad both skyway and at grade section

I doubt they can do much with discounted fees given that they already chastised the proponent publicly and distanced themselves with that proposal.

So yun steel ramp pala is 2 lanes NB lang. Paano pa rin kaya yun mga galing ng alabang Zapote? Kung stop and go eh di ma traffic din both ways (NB and alabang Zapote)

Parsng hinde naman yata pinag isipan yan steel ramp. Tutal kung ma open na pala yun hinarang nilang isang lane sa Dec 1 eh di dapat hinde na naglagay ng steel ramp.

The Skyway NB from AlaZap gets pretty heavy during peak hours.

This temporary ramp will just add to the problem.

Management of Skyway seems to be low in IQ. Best is just wait for the extension to finish.

Exactly my point. Tutal by Dec 1 maalis na daw lahat nun nakaharang eh bakit it pa nila gagawa ng temporary ramp.

Yes Manila is advanced and sophisticated. Pero wala na eh 3-4 hours away na kayo sa Makati, BGC. Thats like going to Baguio na din

Just convince yourselves to stay there na lang, maybe find your own doctor, hospital, school, work, repairs, malls, church, food supply etc, You have family in Manila? Wala isipin nyo na lang nasa LA kayo, facetime na lang or video conference.

In that way, you can maximize your time and your lives. Remove that part in your head that you need Manila in your daily lives.

if so... going south, from manila, baka sa kustal road, then alabang-zapote road na siguro ako dadaan.
pa-balik, sa slex pa rin. tiyempuhan ko na lang ang oras, para tiis-able. mukhang hindi gaanong gapangin, at 8 pm...

does anybody know,
how's the traffic there, both ways, at midnight to 1 am in the morning?
puede rin kasing magdala ng tejeras sa workplace...

Nung Thursday night 11:30pm/Friday 12am traffic yung southbound nung Skyway pero Northbound wala naman daw. Suggest to check real time traffic sa google maps, medyo accurate naman.

Nakakaiyak, sa mga pa south.

Sinara daw kasi 2 lanes SB sa Alabang bridge dahil nag asphalt laying sila for the temporary steel bridge. Tapos umulan daw kaya hinde natapos agad. Tumukod na at least according to the interview I've seen.

Afterthought yata yan temporary ramp. Dapat ginawa after maalis na yun hinarang nila ng Dec 1. Or pinakamaganda dapat yun temporary rap muna ginawa bago hinarang yun isang lane.
