SLEX Alabang traffic

if you take the skyway.. wala nang exit to slex.. sinara nila diba? so lahat nang nag skyway mag fi filinvest exit to slex.. tama ba?

Probably a temporary measure while Alabang and South Station are closed. If you're Class-1 and don't want to get stuck lining up at the tiny Filinvest exit along with all the buses, you have the option to take the Skyway.

i slex-ed!

went south, passing at ground level all the way, at about 1 pm. traffic was moving fine.
but i saw that the northbound traffic was already between alabang and san pedro.

going back at past 9, no unusual northbound traffic.

By 1PM - they opened the skyway steel ramp at Alabang via duct southbound so south traffic was flowing well....
But northbound was very very slow.... I was caught in that slowmotion "frenzy" yesterday, same time....

SB at-grade traffic kanina rush hour was very smooth even though outermost lane closed.

Why? Because Hillsborough off-ramp was closed (though a friend mentioned traffic was bad at the elevated section going to the steel ramps / South Station).

2 lanes at the Alabang viaduct dedicated for the steel ramps.

2 pile boring machines doing their work now at the closed section.

NB traffic was the usual "Friday night rush hour" tail-end just after Susana Hts.

a friend that commutes daily between Biñan and Makati says they now always take the at-grade level going home to Biñan. The skyway is always worse now daw.

Skyway South is bad because of the queue at toll plaza and only two lanes after that....

Slex South will be more tolerable as the number of lanes is reduced from 3 before Sucat to 2 somewhere after that, all the way to the Alabang viaduct...

Walang magagawa dahil design and space limitation talaga. Talagang magkakaroon ng disruption kahit anong roadworks lalo na diyan sa slex at-grade.

Hanggang ngayon wala pa rin akong nababasa na suggestions sa mga tao kung ano dapat ginawa ng contractor para hinde maka affect sa traffic habang ginagawa ngayon yan skyway.

Magtatayo ng poste sa gitna ng busy intersection sa ilalim ng tulay eh di talagang mag kaka traffic talaga. Ano ba dapat ginawa nila para makaoagpatayo ng mga poste na hinde magssara ng Kalsada? Meron bang ibang paraan?

We hate traffic pero pag meron ginagawa to address it reklamo pa rin.

Isang suggestion lang kung ano dapat ginawa ng contractor.

Yun ginawa ba original na skyway dati super traffic din ba ang slex? Sino mga dumadaan doon nun ginagawa pa iyon?

Nakatulong ba original skyway sa traffic ng slex ngayon?

Kung hinde tinukoy yun original skyway dati dahil maraming nagreklamo ng traffic. Ano tingin mo situation sa slex ngayon?

Muntinlupa LGU is lazy as F.
Wala man lang gawin na solusyon.
Kung ako dyan, ipapa halt ko gawa tulad ng ginawa sa QC kung walang maibigay na alternative ang contractor o kung walang waive sa toll fee.
