IIRC si joey marquez ang ayaw pumirma, kaya na delay yun skyway to alabang bro
btw hassle nga yun entry paakyat skyway between alabang and sucat

the way our skyways and other wider roads are built, hassle nga.
parang hindi maganda pagka-plano.
is it because they refuse to fund more rights of way along the sides, such that they are forced to squeeze the plan in a smaller area?

...can a local government say no to a national government edict?

kamot ulo na lang ako kung bakit di pa nila ginawa yan while they're working the Alabang segment.
kung inayos na lang kaya nila noon hanggang Alabang na ang entry at exit, tapos Susana na ang dulo.
...realizing now the Amkor ramp (entry/exit) naging bottleneck north and south bound.

Imagine,- currently,- only one lane from the South Toll of Skyway to Alabang....

They need to add lanes (2 more?) to accommodate the volume of vehicles going further south to Susana Heights/MCX via Skyway

So

1. Construction from the South Toll of Skyway to Alabang to increase the number of Skyway lanes
Plus
2. Construction from Alabang to Susana Heights for the structure of the extended Skyway....

i travel regularly from metro manila to sta rosa.
at kung mamalasin, 2/3 of the time is spent between quirino ave and alabang.
i am looking forward to the skyway, to considerably shorten the driving time.

Right doc,- but it will get worse, before it gets better.... - approx 2 years for this project - that's their estimate.... We'll see...

Kawawa kami na mag exit sa Sucat, ipit kami sa traffic. Sana dagdag pa sila lanes between Nichols to Sucat. Yung 3 lanes near sa Bicutan kulang yun to accommodate the volume of cars exiting Bicutan on a nightly basis.

Yessir! A friend just came from there and reported that his usual a ittle over 1 hour drive was almost doubled -- 40 minutes of which was spent somewhere between San Pedro and Alabang Viaduct's agonizingly slow crawling traffic. And his travel is NOT even rush hour traffic. What more for those travelling during rush hour? And this is just the beginning. Precious time already being wasted.

Kung nuon pa ginawa nila ito, edi wala na sanang traffic from Alaska to Alabang, nasa Carmona exit na sana ang traffic.
