    Update on this, guys
Traffic rerouting in Alabang announced for start of Skyway Extension Project on Feb. 16 | News | GMA News Online

In a statement released Wednesday, San Miguel Corporation (SMC) said that the Skyway O&M Corporation, the Muntinlupa City Government, and the administrators of Filinvest Alabang Inc. approved the traffic rerouting scheme, which includes:

    • the closure of Lane 3 of the Southbound Lane of Skyway at-grade and the northbound lane of the West Service Road from the Sucat Interchange to Alabang Viaduct; and
    • the closure of the southbound Alabang exit plaza and the southbound Bunye South Station.

    New traffic schemes

Given the closure of toll plazas, SMC also announced new traffic schemes:

    • Class 1 and 2 vehicles headed to Alabang or Alabang-Zapote Road, take Filinvest Exit Toll Plaza, turn right at Corporate Ave., right to Civic Drive, right again at Corporate Ave., then right to Alabang –Zapote Road towards their destination.
    • Class 1, 2, and 3 vehicles bound for Alabang, Putatan, and National Road can take the Susana Exit Toll Plaza, turn right at Susana Heights Ave., and turn either left or right on the National Road to their respective destinations
    • Class 1 Vehicles bound for Alabang–Zapote Road, Filinvest, or Daang Hari may choose any of the following routes:
      • Take Filinvest exit, straight to Filinvest Ave., left to Commerce Avenue and/or left Alabang - Zapote Road to destination and/or;
      • Take Filinvest exit, right to Corporate Ave., left to Commerce Ave., right to Filinvest Ave., left to Alabang–Zapote Road.

The following adjustments will also be made given the closure of the Lane 3 and portion of the northbound West Service Road:

    • Class 1 Vehicles bound for Skyway NB at-grade, from Alabang-Zapote Road, take Filinvest Ave., turn left to Parkway St., then turn right to the access tunnel to the Filinvest northbound entry.
    • Class 1 Vehicles bound for Skyway NB elevated, from Alabang-Zapote Road, take Filinvest Ave., turn left to Parkway St., then turn right to the access tunnel to the Filinvest northbound entry. Keep right and use the ramp before the Sucat interchange (On-ramp to Skyway Main Plaza).
    • Class 1 and 2 vehicles bound for East Service Road, take a U-Turn at the Alabang Viaduct Ilalim in front of Starmall.

I just can't imagine all of them being re-routed to filinvest exit. Eh ang filinvest exit pa naman eh 2 toll gated lang, and 1 of them is ETC. Compared to alabang exit na 6 toll gates, 2 for skyway and 4 for slex.

those buses or class 2 and 3 will be re routed to exit susana heights... pero you're still correct.

at present traffic na parati sa susana exit, then traffic pa mismo sa susana (going to the national road/highway), imagine people from muntinlupa would bear this crappy burden for how long?

worst is filinvest exit, imagine all class 1 vehicles would be re routed there, even if they ad 100 ambulant tellers it wont do any good, since the crossroad after filinvest exit is a choke point, specially at night where commuters going to laguna use the exit.

I live in the area, hence the statement.

Pero humble enough to say sorry. Thats what i like sa taipan na dumaan sa negosyo middle class.

Mali pag ka design sa south. Sobrang liit kalsada.. They should plan from the sky.

[emoji19]

My daily travel from the south has normalized after opening the temporary ramp. There are times it was even faster than prior to the start of all these works.

We can only hope this next phase in the construction doesn’t last too long.

^^ Designed lang ata yung steel ramps for C1?

SOMCO has already included SLEx signage at the signage going down Hillsborough off-ramp, image c/o TGP:

    ---

Meron pang approximately 5-8 (?) columns yet to be piled bored sa Uratex on-ramp. Kita sa on-ramp yung pier markings.

Pag evening rush hour nakikita ko na steel ramps ay for SB traffic, though I've yet to see bi-directional traffic at the same time.

Based sa pic ni SOMCO (not sure if bago ito), inalis na nila yung traffic cones sa median lane...I think starting Feb 16 traffic flow will be:

1 lane NB strictly for RFID vehicles muna (which includes South Station) (stop-go traffic for those coming from the viaduct / SouthStation)
2 lanes will be for SB:
    - evening rush hour: stop-go traffic for those using the steel ramps (C1)
    - C2 will use SouthStation

Pag NB naman ay nakatago sa likod (saw it kanina when I was going NB using the ramps.

'grade' refers to the land level, so at-grade just means at ground level.

    --
my son and i also went to alabang around noon and we took the at-grade level. traffic started around bicutan at 12pm and was backing up. exited sucat to take the west service road, which is now all one way in the south bound direction.

drove back at around 2:30pm took the skyway ramp from north gate. the stop-go alternate scheme for north and south bound directions is now in full effect. took me 15 minutes just to get past the on-ramp.

south bound skyway is also backed up and mostly standstill. i can't imagine the traffic for the next 6 weeks.

yung skyway from naia kasi, makes a left turn at the nichols flyover, toward magallanes, and a right turn, also at the nichols flyover, towards southbound skyway.
what the directives mean, are that those trucks and buses coming from naia skyway, should turn left at the nichols interchange, down to the ground level slex, make a u-turn under magallanes flyover, and enter slex in the usual, non-skyway method.
bawal na trak and bas to make a right turn at the nichols interchange and proceed southward, to join the southbound skyway.

it also means, bawal umakyat ang bas at trak sa skyway.

they should have just said, "bawal kayo sa skyway ng slex."

Ah ok, thanks for the explanation, sa dami ng dumaan na bus sa skyway, lahat sila magsisiksikan na sa baba. That part of slex would be an expensive parking lot.

Probably a temporary measure while Alabang and South Station are closed. If you're Class-1 and don't want to get stuck lining up at the tiny Filinvest exit along with all the buses, you have the option to take the Skyway.

It was mentioned by Sir Victor na sa Susana heights pa labas ng bus, then babalik sa alabang via Manila South Roads.
