Alabang Extension Project

Mega push to meet the deadline set by SMC to open the temporary all steel skyway ramp and open a SLEX third lane northbound to address traffic problem.. Our DSI PMC Staff has been part of this mega push.

i just heard over the radio (9:45 am sunday), that northbound slex traffic is back to normal.
i wonder, is the southbound also back to normal?

i am a regular user, and i have had to "trim my responsibilities", when the construction started.

Temporary ramp looks flimsy.

I don't know if this can handle the collective weight of vehicles stuck in traffic over a long period of time.

Hope it is not an accident waiting to happen

Per a bubwit re-asphalting of the spur road gawa diba giniba na nila yung concrete barrier to make it 3 lanes.

Pero namention na ni RSA mismo yung post mo na pwedeng gawin scheme if ever.

Ngayon naman ay brace for SB traffic tayo due to impending pile boring works.

^^ Not sure Sir, pero kagabi pagdaan ko sa Alabang around 8:30-9pm traffic was uber swabe. Bukas yung steel ramps pero NB lang, sarado SB. Nung Friday rush hour wala nadin traffic, hanggang Alabang viaduct lang. Besides restoring the at-grade to 3 lanes, laking effect nung sarado pa din yung Alabang NB Toll Plaza na temporarily nilipat sa ilalim ng Skyway on-ramp.

SB naman, they have started pile boring /casting and other civil works at the Soldier Hills overpass. Tama na dito muna focus gawa Holiday season, umpisahan nalang nila yung sa at-grade segment next year na.

After personally experiencing a Monday morning NB travel, it definitely improved and almost restore the pre-construction time, well actually in my estimates it's almost a 2-3 year restoration of traffic. Dati the start of the pile up starts about 500m before the Caltex Stn and almost standstill, kanina the pile up started na lang right after the Soldiers Hill overpass and the traffic is actually moving and not going into a full stop. Salute to the team who made this wonderful miracle...

Eh bakit ang daming reklamo nanaman ngayon na heavy traffic. Meron nanaman daw silang sinarang entry or exit kaya nagkagulo nanaman mga tao. [emoji23]

Agree.. dapat yan si ramon ang pitpitin ang yagbols eh.. as always poor planning.. dati poor planning pag government project kaya sabi sa private natin pa handle.. now same banana na sila..

Ano nanaman ba ginawa ng skyway management. Ok na nga nun December 1 eh, lahat masaya na ngayon meron nanaman dulang ginawa balik nanaman traffic. So isang linggo lang pala yun sinabi ko Ramon Ang na improvement ng traffic. [emoji23]

passed by SLEX at grade section yesterday around 9AM, green and go all the way from Bicutan to San Pedro
pabalik naman around 12 noon at grade section San Pedro up to C5 green and go din, pero I saw the build up south bound mahaba na from Alabang down ramp to Bicutan
