LTO New Plate Release

Got a text from my dealer yesterday that the plates are available. Picked it up today.

Bought the car last March, 2017.

Was surprised that i got the ending number I requested. Akala ko hindi na pwede magrequest nito. And yes, may kasamang sticker na hindi ko sure kung RFID.

Same as above. Bought my car in March 2017, and dealer texted me in late November 2018 that the plates were in the dealer.

Unfortunately, the ending number is different from the conduction sticker. So my wife and I have to change our work schedules next year.

This. Swerte at sakto sa nirequest mo ang na-assign na ending mo. Request ko noon eh wag coding ng Monday at Friday. Ended up with a 0 ending XD.

did you get your number because of your request, or was it simple dumb luck?
statistically, even at random, you will get your prefered number 20% of the time.

Hi guys. Long time lurker, first time poster.

I got a few questions if no one mind:

1. I got my car February 2017. I also got one of them special plates you have to pay for (right before they suspended the program). I've checked with the 2600 number and it nandyan na nga yung special plate number requested. I just don't have the physical plates yet. You guys reckon I should just pester the guy who did the papers until he coughs it out? March 2017 people from the forum has already been getting theirs.

2. Also, since I already have a plate-less plate number, some people said I can just have a virtual plate made, whatever that is. Should I?

3. RFID stickers (Wala pa ngang plaka majority of the cars bought from 2014, may bagong stickers agad). Just to get things right, they want us to stick it on the bare glass in the middle of the windshield according to people here. So the question here are: a.) I should cut of a hole in my tint (Parang may nunal naman yung car sa noo)? b.) Since newer cars have several sensors, cameras and thingamabobs behind the rear view extending almost halfway down the windshield, should I just stick in right smack in the middle of the windshield? c.) Is the RFID sticker to be replaced annually?

I'm so confused. Thanks for helping this newb out.

Would anybody know if it is possible to get a special plate already?

My new license plate was released and unfortunately, it matches the coding day of my other vehicle.

The dealer told me to write a letter to LTO NCR G. Araneta office and prove that I have the same coding days.

Anybody who have experienced this? Thanks in advance.

What I know is, you should apply for the special plate upon purchase of the car. I just don't know if it's possible to apply once the plate is already released.

Just got my new plates. Useless Nissan dealer in alabang dealer didnt even bother to install the RFID.

Kailangan pa ba install yung RFID? i thought the SC already nullified the RFID deal and ordered them to return the RFID fees they got from us.

My dealer offered to install the plates & rfid when i got them. Kaso nga lang ibang kotse ang dala ko nun.

May tutorial sa youtube on how to install the LTO rfid. Install mo na lang para sigurado.

May tint yung harap ng car so it looks like i have to cut out a portion for the RFID. Medyo mahirap. Hay, hassle talaga.

Hindi ba pwede kahit no cut na sa tint unless you're using metallic tint like vkool

I am not sure. Any other info on this kung pwedeng "tinted" yung rfid hehe? This would definitely be an easier alternative.

Sakin may tint pero dinikit ko pa din. Maikabit lang. Wala namang clear na implementing rules ang LTO tungkol sa RFID na issue nila.

I called my dealer today to ask if my plate is already available. The good news, it is now available. The bad news, the ending no. is 1 same with my conduction! Damn it!!!

The dealer will install the rfid at the center part of the windshield. Di ba pwede sa gilid idikit yun? Hassle naman sa dashcam ko lol

Got my plate today. Dealer installed the rfid behind the rearview mirror. Cut a small portion of the tint then, boom, ok na. Hehe

Mabilis na pala plaka ngayon? Tita ni wifey wala pa 3 weeks from release may plaka na.

Yun nga lang same ending with their other ride.

So standard.kit na pala.ang RFID tags with the new plate....Paano kung me existing RFID na? When I got my RFID sticker nakaregister sya or reference sa conduction sticker..Do I need to update my old RFID or need to install the new tag?

What existing rfid? Ngayon lang naman naglagay ng ganyan ang LTO...

What I meant was I have an existing RFID na ..mag 3years na tong car ko so meron na kong RFID..for SLEX ....

Or iba pa bang RFID to? Not a Tollway RFID?
