LTO New Plate Release

Lumabas na OR and meron na assigned plate number, but since meron shortage sa license plate LTO and they came out with a new memorandum na I can have a temporary license plate numebr done as long as follow yun format nila pwede ko na ba alisin conduction pag nagpagawa ako?

i wouldn't remove the conduction sticker, until i receive my metal plakas and bolt them onto my car.

I'm expecting that it will take a long time before lumabas yun plate numbers kaya magpagawa na lang ako temporary. I just don't know if pwede na alisin conduction stickers pag temporary plate. Hinde naman nila sinabi sa memorandum nila.

when push comes to shove,
anyone can create temporary plakas,
but few can manufacture fake conduction stickers.

i still sport my conduction stickers. i have no itching yearning to remove them, even as my permanent plakas have been bolted on for years already.

They can always check the documents. I just can't stand sa conduction stickers, if I already have assigned plate numbers then it doesn't serve any purpose na.

diba basta wala pa physical plates kahit may assigned plate# na ang temporary plate eh yung conduction number tapos MVFile# sa baba.. and gagamitin sa coding yung ending nang conduction number hanggang lumabas na yung official plate from LTO..

in an article published april 27, 2023 by topgear,
then-LTO chief Tugade announced that car owners are not allowed to print their own temporary number plates.
only dealers are allowed to do it.

diba basta wala pa physical plates kahit may assigned plate# na ang temporary plate eh yung conduction number tapos MVFile# sa baba.. and gagamitin sa coding yung ending nang conduction number hanggang lumabas na yung official plate from LTO..

That's for kung wala pang assigned plate number at least according to the new memorandum.

Sabi ng dealer nun nagrelease ng unit sa amin, kahit may assigned plate, bawal daw magpagawa, yun conduction sticker parin daw na nakakabit pagrelease ng unit gagamitin.

Binigay na kasi sa amin OR CR with assigned plate number pero yan ang sabi sa amin nun ahente.

my green-on-white plate ends in 3.
for the longest time, i had not received my replacement black-on-white.
it seems, my plakas are still held in limbo, in the pier.

my other vehicle has EP 5, and i already got the replacement plates this year.

The LTO earlier issued a memorandum circular against the use of improvised and temporary plates after an initial investigation revealed that registered owners of vehicles, especially the newly-bought ones, are not claiming their license plates from motor vehicle dealerships.

Thousands of license plates remain unclaimed in various motor vehicle dealerships and in a meeting with car dealers last month, the car dealers said their clients are unable to claim the plates despite their repeated message to them.

Is it really the client who has not claimed the license plate or the dealer not distributing the plates immediately?

I don't know the reason why new car buyers will not claim the plates of their new car if this is true.

Bought my car April 2023, registered na but no assigned plate number yet. Until today, wala pa din plaka. Checked with my local LTO office, wala pa nga talagang plaka.
