Di ko na lang ginalaw yun plate baka lalo pa masira if ni unbolt para ayusin. Kaya minsan mas ok nlng if ikaw nlng gumawa lahat kaysa pagawa mo sa ibang tao.

yes, i attach my own plates. i use the the factory plate saver, using it as insulator behind the metal plate. it protects the paint from scratches, and minimizes noisy vibrations.

Diba pag 1q mo binili yung car, ang ending is 1 and 2 lang and so on...

Nung nakuha namin car sa Casa ang sabi ng service attendant 1 month lang daw may plate na.. mag 3 months na ngayon wala pa din plate :D

they are dependent on what the lto announces and dictates.

My guess is that yung mga recent buyers ng cars are getting their plates in a matter of days, if not weeks.

Yung nakabili noong time ng previous administration na wala pang plaka, yun yung nadamay sa questioing ng SC sa previous supplier ng plates.

Di totoo yung kapag sa province ang dealer makukuha kaagad plate. Yung Everest namin took 2 years bago nakuha last December 2018. CR-V 3 months na wala pa din plate. Pampanga and Bulacan dealers, respectively. Either LTO or dealer talaga mabagal.

it's their fault that we have no plates.
instead of making it more difficult for us, they should be bending backwards to accommodate us.

two years ago, i had to go to lto, to request them to upload my plate number into the system, because the emissions test facility won't do my car.
and the funny thing is, my lto-sourced metal plates have been screwed onto my car for the past three years.

Lto doesnt provide certification since it is not required. It's the emission testing center that are implementing that. In short pera gusto nila

I was able to register my 3 year old Fort last week using the virtual plate I obtained last year from LTO Araneta Avenue. Ayaw talaga pumasok sa emission testing with just the mv file number.

but the problem appears to be, lto does not automatically upload it. they, for some strange reason, wait for the owner to come asking them to upload it.
why?

you should have raised the issue sa casa kasi trabaho nila yan..

as far as i am concerned, casa did its job when it handed me the or/cr, and a few weeks later, the official metal number plates.
casa does not control the lto computer system. lto does.
so why do lto not automatically upload the plate numbers, like in the distant years past? i mean, they had all of three years to do that simple, it-takes-but-5-minutes job.

Once it's uploaded, lowly placed LTO crocodiles will find it harder to do "magic" -- like shuffle plate endings for a fee amongst those dissatisfied with what they got originally. So these lowly placed LTO crocodiles wait till the last minute final confirmation of the owner. This is just my speculation, though, so don't quote me on it.

Bought a car recently. Delivered april 26. The OR/CR was sent this morning with plate details.

June 2016 ko na bili mux, after 1 year got my LTO plate. Sabi ni isuzu rizal out of 250+ nilang ni register dalawa lang kami na bigyan na LTO plate. Swerte lang po.

My SA called me that i had my assigned plate number , but the physical plate will arrive next week (hopefully).

I got the plate ending i had requested, after i made a formal request and attached the OR CR of the other cars in our garage.
