Pag naabutan po ako ng heavy rain sa daan at bumagsak ang visibility..

kung nasa highway, maintain a 60KMS run, and avoid any abrupt braking, lalo kung hindi naka-ABS ang sasakyan.

Di ko rin po alam kung bakit nakasanayan ng ibang driver na mag-hazard during heavy rain?! para sa akin po, in my personal opinion,
nakaka-confused po talaga ito at iniiwasan ko po yung mga naka-hazard, madalas yan, halos hindi nagkaka-layo ng distance yung mga naka-hazard during heavy rain situation...

Most of these bad habits eh "nakasanayan na", mga turo pa siguro ng magulang. Just like anything na turo ng magulang or nakasanayan na, mahirap kumbinsihin sila na mali iyon at dapat baguhin.

I agree, bad habit na tinuro nang nakakatanda na mali din pala.

Using nunh hazard at yung flashing when doing something wrong yun sobrang nakaka-asar.

On zero visibility, if your cars are equipped with rear fog lights, use them. These can be seen far more better.

It will take great efforts to unlearn wrong driving practices which are already deeply-rooted in the Pinoy driver. While we are at it, might as well update the "road code" to a more comprehensive one. Pansin ko yung mga pinoint-out ni Deakin ni wala nga dito eh:

AFAIK
follow lights at a signalized intersection
in the absence of lights, give way rules apply/prevail
TE/police officer directing traffic at intersection prevails over lights and give way rules

IMHO hindi siya bad habit either good habit pa kase binibigyan mo ng warning yung ibang road users either pedestrian or motor vehicle na gusto mo umatras para alam nila at aware sila kase mahirap na baka sabihin nila pag naatrasan mo sila na hindi mo sila nainform, pananagutan mo sila.
