A lot of pinoys never really had a formal education in terms of driving, unlike in other countries its already included in their curriculum, hence the "pulpol" driving.

Nag enroll ako sa driving school way back 2005 pa yata. Pinag drive ako nung instructor along Quezon ave biglang umulan ng malakas so halos zero visibility that time around 4:00 pm so maliwanag pa. Tapos tinanong nya ako kung ano gagawin ko kapag ganun situation na halos zero visibility at nasa gitna ako ng daan. Ang sabi ko itatabi ko nalang yung car at hintayin huminto yung ulan. Ang sabi nya mag Hazard nalang daw ako para may warning daw yung nasa likod ko. So ganun ang naging practice ko kapag umuulan ng malakas at hindi ko makita yung daan. Until few days ago saka ko lang nalaman na mali pala yung ginagawa ko. Buti nalang may tsikot.com madami ako natututunan.

June 28th, 2014 09:09 PM #78the maximum speed allowed is the maximum speed allowed. you are not allowed to go over it, even if you are overtaking..
the innermost lane is the overtaking lane. but you are still not allowed to go over max speed when overtaking.
and it is not right to hog the overtaking lane if you are not overtaking. i am just not sure if driving at maximum allowed speed gives anyone the right to hog the overtaking lane..
