When you pass both of that, that's the only time you'll get your driver's license (licence here in Canada). So I guess that sorta instilled on each and every mind of Canadian/American how to drive safely and defensively.
C$18/copy din yan, money making business sana sa LTO if they are not that lazy to produce one.

But sadly how we learn driving there in the PH, and the driving "knowledge" we incur was not on par with most countries that have stricter driving habits and rules. I've been there, done that.

Believe me when I say it took me 5 tries to a road test before I finally passed it. Not to mention its $125 per road test try.

PH driving is really worlds apart compared to driving here.

Majority of cars in Phil streets have no rear fog lights.

maybe? its a case to case basis, when using your hazard, even if you are not on a full stop...
Check if your windshield tint is causing the "added" reduce visibility.
Countries that prohibits or limits the use of hazards lights have strict guidelines in the use of windshield tint.

Bro,- I beg to disagree naman.

Sa aking pananaw at limited experience driving for many months in the US,- if you can drive here in Manila,- you can drive anywhere in the world (assuming driving in the US and Canada are practically the same).....

Very minor adjustments in driving habits, IMO (merging, changing lanes, four-way stop, pedestrian crossing) to name a few. Just follow the rules of the road and you're in great shape. I know of a few people who could not drive here in Manila, but are driving okay in the US.

Also, about 10 engineers from our company, including myself, passed the DMV written and practical exams on the first try.

Drove in Indonesia for a few weeks. M/T pa ito....I am thinking all the time that I have to be "on the wrong side of the road,- always"...

:bwahaha: kala ko ako lang nag kaka ganyan. stayed in new zealand for 1 1/2 months and drove daily, 9 out of 10 times i approach the car parating nasa kabilang side kaya tawa ng tawa pinsan ko na laki don. sabi sa akin tagal ko na nag drive don mali pa din pinupuntahan kong side pag sasakay sa kotse. pero never naman na punta sa kabilang side ng kalsada while driving. i guess when driving i pay attention more because i'm afraid to end up on the wrong side of the road.

Medyo mahirap siguro transitioning from RHD to LHD to RHD. Ang magandang guideline dito (from the movie Fastest Indian) "the driver is always the one near the centerline no matter where in the world you're driving."

True enough, tail lamps alone offer limited visibility, but the sight of a whole stretch of highway filled with blinking lights was dangerously confusing.

Mas ok pa yung naka-RFL. Got to take this pic of a Crosswind with his flashers side by side with my tito's BMW na naka-RFL.

Suck my 155 watts

Pinaka misconception ang 'zero visibility'. Edi sana nagsi-tigil lahat sa gilid Poor visibility yon. yung iba naman nago-on ng hazard lights pero sige pa rin ang weaving in-and-out sa traffic hay

ito yung distracting at nakakainis. i don't mind people turning on hazard lights basta stick to middle or right lane lang in NLEX and no overtaking.
