MANILA, Philippines - Yuppies driving a Toyota Fortuner around look cool to a lot of people, even cooler to car thieves.

In a report, www.topgear.com.ph said Toyota’s sport-utility vehicle (SUV) is the top most favorite of car thieves.

The SUV is followed by Nissan Urvan and the Isuzu Crosswind.

Quoting Col. Edwin Butacan, public information officer of the Philippine National Police-Highway Patrol Group (PHP-HPG), the car website said all 3 are “very saleable in the market.”

"They (car thieves) bring the vehicles to Visayas and Mindanao, fabricate new papers, and sell them off as second-hand vehicles,” Butacan said.
A stolen Fortuner is usually sold at around P700,000, easily half of its original price of P1.35 million to P1.75 million.

Other stolen vehicles are sold at P400,000 to P500,000.

Butacan said PNP-HPG will launch a campaign to warn motorists of buying second-hand vehicles at suspiciously low prices.

He said police will disseminate posters that read: “Pag-ingatan and perang pinaghirapan. Bago bumili ng segunda-manong sasakyan, isangguni muna sa aming pinakamalapit na himpilan.”

All our HU have steering wheel control support. If originally installed sa factory ang steering wheel control ng car nyo for sure supported sya sa HU namin via plug and play wiring connectors... walang wiring modification or wire splicing required para sa installation ng HU namin. We will just pull out ang stock HU nyo and papalitan namin ng HU namin and kahit nakapikit ang magkakabit ng wire eh nde magkakamali dahil fool proof and connectors (model specific only)

The rear camera is included in the package mga sir. Our OEM rear camera are high resolution with night vision. We use similar chipset as those rear camera ng BMW.

this picture shows the video taken by the rear camera.

Gumulo yung thread. Naging bentahan na ng HU, tsk tsk tsk.

Major turn off, seriously. It could have been posted int he proper thread for selling. If a person does not know how to sell, how else can he be good

good day.. sorry now lang ako nakapag-post ulit after a month.. lahat po ng dealership kayang magbigay ng discounts at pare-pareho lang po ng amount yung discount sa lahat ng dealership.. kaya ayaw sabihin sa inyo ng agent kasi gusto nila ma-close muna ang deal bago sila mag-offer ng discounts.. yung discounts pwedeng ring gamitin sa insurance and LTO registration.. pero advice ko, pwede nyo ilabas ang insurance kasi for sure bibigyan ka nila ng napakataas sa insurance premium para dun mo na lahat halos magamit yung unit discount mo na 70K na ibibigay ng dealership.. ang lowest insurance premium na pwede kang makipag-bargain ay nasa 24 to 30K lang ang amount with AOG na po yun.. kapag pumayag ka sa ahente na 50K+ plus ang insurance talo ka na.. doon lang mauubos sa insurance yung discount mo na 70K..kaya tip ko.. ilabas nyo insurance.. kayo direktang mag-apply sa insurance company kasi mataas komisyon ng mga ahent ng insurance kapag mataas ang insurance premium na kinagat ng client... sa financing tips naman.. maghanap ka ng kakilala sa car loans division ng head office ng desired mong bangko or tumawag ka directly sa kanila at sabihin mo na ikaw rin ang mag-aahente sa financing ng sariling mong sasakyan.... cguro ang range ng commission mo ay nasa 10K to 15K.. laking bawas narin nun sa amount ng downpayment mo diba.. kung meron pa pong questions regarding this topics feel free to post.. thank you..
