Mga sirs. Ano ba ave FC ng Fort 2.5 G AT Diesel 4x2 ngayon ? city and highway ? Ok naman ba acceleration/ torque nya and adequate naman ba power nya sa highways ? Handling, comfort etc. Nagiisaip din ako if this SUV is worth the wait. Mahaba pila sa sasakyan na ito. thanks

down payment of 20k, the waiting was worth it pero yung 20k down lumalaki na sana sa ibang investment within 7 months.

Nauwi na namin Changed the stock audio system to DVD with back up cam. Enjoy kame sa GPS parang nasa US na kame hehe. Yung tagtag...parang same pa rin sa old Fortuner '07 ko though d ko pa nacheck ang psi. Sabe nasa 30 lang daw... i doubt. Pero kung ganon nga.....tagtag pa rin

Nagulat nga ako na wala na daw talagang kasamang mat sa baggage row. Ganun na daw sa mga 2012 models. Buti na lang nandun pa sa trade-in shop ung old '09 fort namin. Ayun tnawagan ko agad at nirequest ko kung puede ko pang makuha yung mat nung '09. Pumayag naman. btw, got our '12 4x2 2.7 gas a/t last dec pa.

IMO, depends on how long do you intend to use and keep your Fort and kung madalas niyo ba gamitin ito everyday.

my wife will use it to work mga max 20kms a day tapos the occasional out of town every 2 months. initially we ordered the 2.7 kaso sobrang tagal ng unit. my dad complained talaga sa FC ng kanya din last month lang niya binili 2.7 nya. so i am now open sa d4d na 4x2 at.

Kung ingay ang concern, definitely mag gas ka na lang. ung FC naman negates the lower price of VVTi compared sa D4-D which is around Php55,000 price difference. Break even lang ung FC at 6.5Km/Li, 20Km/day for 5 years theoretical computation.

D-4D Diesel has higher purchase price (+60K), higher maintenance costs (short and more so long term), sensitive to "dirty" fuel (so careful which station you fill up).

Any diesel has the usual clatter and vibration associated with the engine. But in the Fortuner's case, its barely noticeable.

Kung pinagusapan ang tipid sa FC, 4x2 D-4D M/T ang pinakamatipid.

Pinakamahaba ang pila ay 4x2 diesel A/T (unless gusto mo mag manual trans - faster queue). 4x2 VVT-i and 4x4 D-4D also have quicker queues.

wala na sa choices ang MT kasi wife ko gagamit 70% of the time. white kasi talaga like niya and mahirap hanapin sa ngayon. nakakita bank namin ng diesel AT na white thats why i posted here to be sure. inip na kasi wife ko. 4x2 automatics lang talaga options namin.
by the way, did you mean barely noticeable and ingay ng engine ng diesel ngayon? kasi yung 2010 fortuner ng pinsan ko medyo maingay. parang typical diesel engines.

wow i swear i never thought of that. ang galing ng computation mo. 5 years is pretty decent. this is really something to consider. tapos considering maintenance costs within that 5 years mukhang ok din pala vvti contrary to initial impressions. sir can you illustrate kahit simple computation lang po it might really help us decide. i want to argue with some people hehe, dami kasi ayaw ng vvti eh. this is good.
