Im planning to buy Silver Mettalic na Fortunner DSL G variant. Bagay po ba yung magic tint sa colorway nya? Medyo hirap po kasi akong mag Drive pag Super Black yung Tint lalo na po sa mga walang Street Lamps sa Gabi.

Hoping you can advise me if babagay yung tint kasi medyo silver na din kasi yung kulay

yes kasi po kapag malalim talaga ang clutch, at hindi naman kalakihan ang driver, lalapit ka talaga sa pedal , pero naadjust naman yan, natry ko isuzu mux manual transmission, kahit half press clutch pedal, naililipat ng smooth ang gear.

Try nyo sir vkool oem series. Not sure about their models pero may superblack din sila. Mas ok ang visibility kaysa 3m. 6k lang lahat na ng windows including buo sa harap

need help with the passenger seatbelt warning lamp.

earlier today, biglang nag blink yung passenger seatbelt waring lamp even without anyone seating on the passenger seat, and it was empty. the flashing light is only half of the normal brightness, so it is lightly flashing.

what could be the problem?

Sir/s, got my fort 2.7 G and had it tinted. And HL for me is quite dim. My question is, can i replace the HL Halogen Bulb and replace it with HID bulb without adding relay or addt'l wiring? Is there any available HID bulb that would match to the stock Halogen bulb and would improve the visibility? If none then what are the common or recommended HL HID specs/brand? Thanks.

Imho. Mahina ang Hid Sa asphalt lalo na sa Tag Ulan. About sa wiring ubligado mag dagdag my ballast kasi ang HID patungo sa Bulb

Hi fort peeps.
Hingi lang sana ako advice/ opinion re my mother in laws own 2015? Fortuner.

Car was bought sa Toyota Pasig just aound the end of December 2014.

Kinuha ng in law ko yung same na naka display sa showroom nila It had the 20 inch rims with 265/50 tires if i'm not mistaken. Just not sure sa tire size pati yung sa rims di ko alam kung ano specs. Alam ko lang is 20 inch nga sya.

So last January nahiram ko sya. Pero nung na drive ko na i noticed na meron wiggle sa manibela going around 100kph pataas also when slowing down. Meron din syang sabit sa fenderliner when making a full turn. Meron din kabig sa right.

So binalik ko yung kotse para ma check nila. They did adjustment. Then told me to recheck the car and test dirve it. Kung meron man problema ulit ibalik na lang sa kanila and so on.....

So nung inuwi ko na, i noticed na nawala naman yung kabig sa right ng konti. But still felt na kumakabig pa din sa right ng "slightly". Then yung wiggle sa manibela nawala naman. Then yung "sabit" while making full turn eh nawala naman. Tinest ko ito sa NLEX. Pwera lang yung full turn.

Pero after few days eh bumalik sila lahat. Wiggle, kabig, sabit. So exactly one week after eh binalik ko ulit sa kanila.

I talk to one of the service guy and told me that na natandaan nya yung car at sya ang nag accomodate sa car. So he told me that they can't do anything dahil binalik na nila within specs yung sa pag adjust re sa sabit. Yung accesories people daw dapat ang mag recommend sa service kung ano ang next step since yung accesories people ang nagbenta ng rims sa in law ko. Dahil kung ikakabit naman daw yung stock wheels, makikita naman na wala syang problem. Nag ka problema lang nung kinabitan ng 20 inch rims.

I also mentioned dun sa service guy na having a spacer on the wheels. Tapos sabi nya na yun din daw ang gusto nya sabihin pero di naman sa kanya mangagaling ang suggestion dahil yung accesories people ang nagbenta nga nung rims.

So fast forward. I was able to talk na dun sa accesories people na bumalik problem and so on. So again they tested it. Then i ask them for update after few hours and told me na dinala nila sa supplier nila ng rims. Which is sa winterpine sa banawe.(akala ko dealing with electronics ang winterpine) hindi naman daw.

So after few hours again eh dumating na car, they said na binalance nila ulit yung rims and so on. Check ko na lang daw ulit. And kung magka problem eh sabi papalitan nalang daw nila yung rims to a different one kung bumalik man problema.

So fast forward ulit. Problem did not go away, mas lumala ang wiggle, may kabig pa din at may sabit pa din.

Sensya na at long story.

So ano po ba ma aadvice nyo mga fort peeps especially sa mga nagpalit ng rims.

well, we can go several rounds/cycles with this...
or you can put your stock wheels back and see if the problems go away. if they do, then it's obviously the 20 inchers. if they don't, then it's the fort.
my suspicion is, the 20 inchers have a manufacturing defect like weak metal.. bumibigay under certain stress conditions..

Need help. For those who have stock headunits from fortuner 2014/15 and wants to have skytv installed.. pwede ba ilagay ung aux rca cable sa likod? Ang pangit kasi tignan if you plug it in front.

regarding with the 20" rim issue, i'm with doc's comment.
and to add a few, going beyond the manufacturer's specs when it comes with wheels could be a hit or miss and it sounds like yours is at the latter.
needless to say, gusto kong palitan yung OEM wheels ng hilux E(195/r16) which are too thin to my liking and it's obvious naman. my target would be at 18" * max kasi i have thoughts na baka nga magka-problema ako in the end. work horse ko din kasi yung pickup.
and i decided will get the 17" OEM that goes with the forts/hilux na lang kung sakali and i'm on the hunt atm for a nice deal. more on stock looks kasi ako.

though i haven't seen any of sir gary's works in flesh but those pictures and feed backs from his clients seems perfect. when it comes to light output and beam cut-off like wise... that looks safe for on coming motorists'/traffic somewhat i thought how it would be done right.
