Okay din pala medyo malakas lang on city... Wala ba turbo issues ang fortuner?

Hello. Pwedeng magtanong? I'm looking at the 2016 Camry but my garage is full so I'm thinking of selling my 2007 Fortuner, it's gas, a/t, with a mileage of below 65K... If it were your car, how much would u sell it for?

it will sell like hot cake at 500k ☺ seriously, at 65K mileage, if you acquired it in 2007, that's 677 kms per month if my math isn't wrong. siguro 700k max.

    8-year old vehicle:

    Cost of acquisition x 0.9^8

So if acquisition cost was P1.2M last 2007,- then current selling price would be in the ballpark of P516K... Plus P20K probably for the "low mileage"; Assuming: was not flooded and no major accident.

We are in the same predicament bro as our rides have low mileages, too... And we get only so much premium when we dispose of them....

And the 2007 release is not vnt compared to the current model...

Check the newspapers and the Internet for the prevailing prices...

So it is better to drive our rides "to the end of the world"...

But the "vnt" u wrote would stand for "very nice thing", right? anyway, i'm just trying to figure that out. And i was looking at OLX, i realized the best time to dispose of my 2007 Fortuner was yesterday (so to speak). Thanks for the input

    Sorry about that sis....

VNT means "variable nozzle turbocharged" intercooled diesel engine of the new variants of the Fortuner,- I think starting Y2012. These are the variants with the hood scoop...

OT: I like the way you supplemented the phrase with "and back...",- Yes,- there is no place like home....

Yes,- checkout with olx,- and the Sunday edition of the Bulletin Today newspaper... They should give you an idea of the fair market value of your ride...

Anyway,- if you are still enjoying it,- meaning,- "worry free driving with the need for just the regular PMS",- then IMO, there is no urgency for a new ride.

Unless, of course, you really want a new one....

Yes Mr. CVT, I will check Bulletin Today and monitor OLX. Yes, i'm still enjoying this particular car and i don't really need a new ride...yet.

Pasensya na, my "VNT" is way off the mark, it's embarrassing. I don't really know cars, i just drive like any average jane. My attempt at OT, PMS and IMO, i'll keep to myself na lang.

    Thanks again [emoji4]

^ma'am, i'm relatively new here too. OT is off-topic. PMS is preventive maintenance schedule. IMO is in my opinion. whereas before i'd just wait for casa people to call me for my preventive maintenance. through tsikot i learn new things. . . about cars and other things. ;)

For you guys, which is better? The 17s silver mags and beige interior or the 17s gun metal mags with the black interior?

i like the gun metal mags, but on the fence about the black interior. i find it too dark all around (not enough accents) and makes the cabin feel hotter too.

I actually like the black or if there is one, gray interior...

Owning a couple of rides with the beige interior is pushing someone as OC as me to the edge....

Black for me is a no-no these days for the color of a ride (I own one, too - with a black interior).... Hard (for me,- again an OC) to maintain. I'd rather not expound on this...

Sis is fine sir. Thank you for those inputs. 'glad i didn't write down my take on those letters...i'm still laughing at myself over VNT's actual meaning.

    It is perfectly alright, Sis!

    OT:

I also laugh at myself,- a lot. I see myself as a "wacky sayangtist",- a benevolent contradiction.

In the past,- it kept me sane and morally tight, - during my darkest days....

I am having some thoughts regarding my 10 year old V fort. Someone is offering to purchase it for 580-600k. Bought it for 1.480m then. Mileage is only 61k. But predicament is what will use while waiting for the new Fort.
