Upgraded our 2005 Fortuner with a Pioneer 2din head unit when we first got it 7 years ago. Kelangan mo lang bumili ng plastic cover for the sides of the radio kasi mas malapad sa standard 2din size yung opening ng Fortuner. Available sa casa yon.

1st gen fortuner namin gusto ko na sana mag palit.

yun 2din may mga size yun hindi lang basta 2din pasok na agad.

yes, sir may cover naman para takpan ung opening. pero ung latest 3.0 na nakita ko parang walang cover, swak ung 2din na naka install. anyway, check ko ulit tignan ko ng mabuti.

Normally, naka set sa HL pag city driving. When do you shift the knob to H or LL?

maganda pioneer. pero ung 3.0 may kasama ng touchscreen HU. im not sure kung anong brand un, swak naman ung 2din na naka install.

I see.... It's good that Fortuner is slowly having those "extra" features that Monty have. Pati headrest monitor meron na rin sa 3.0, sana sa susunod cruise control naman.

Hi, its my first time inside the Fortuner thread. Can any of you Fortuner owners confirm if one can "successfully" remove the mud guards and stepboards of the present model Fortuner and not leave any gaping holes? I personally have yet to see a Fortuner sans mudguards and stepboards, hence my question.

Pictures if any of you have, would be very much appreciated. I see myself getting a Fortuner in the near future (God willing).

Had an experience with an old 2.7G Fortuner, early 09 model with 80k odo. Worst FC I got with it was 5km/L as shown in the MID.

In pure city i get 6.5 to 7km/li, in hi-way a combination of expressway and national road like mcarthur I get around 9 and the most eco run I got was 11 km/li when I went tarlac via nlex/sctex back and forth at 100kph maintained speed. My fort is on its 4th year already hope this helps.

kung meron man sasakyan hindi matagtag sa malubak na daan, lumilipad na yun, and that would be DeLorean DMC-12. lol

that matagtag issue on both monty and fort also depends on a lot of conditions including driver. hehe
