sa wakas.... nakapag decide na parents ko on what to get a replacement for our van grandia. Kukuha na kami probably next week... inaantay lang yung buyer nung grandia na magdown.. kasi gusto lang na masiguradong madidispose na yung van bago umorder ng kapalit...

now my questions are:

1. what would be the best variant if diesel yung kukuhanin?
2. Anu yung consumption nung diesel variant na yun if ever?
3. 4x4 variant sana kung diesel, ok din ba?
4. which variant will be much ok, diesel or gas?

sensiya na kung madami akong tanung... Hopefully makatulong and wag kayo makulitan.. tsk tsk..

Kung hindi problema sayo ang consumption ng Gas at hindi kanaman mag off-road kung ako sayo Gas nalang bilin mo. Mas mabuti din na basahin mo muna yong D4d woes thread bago kayo bumili. At least try to think about it more than once. Sayang pera ng parents mo pag nagkamali ka ng bili.

Nako! Ang hirap pala pag diesel binili mo..Ang dami kong friends na nag-sasabi na humihinto nlng ung unit nila sa daan..Tapos hindi pa mlaman ng toyota yung cause! damn! Buti na lang gas binili ko..

Hello Fellow Fortuneros,

Got my D4D last september and I dream about my SUV when I sleep. I'm getting 8 km/liter of diesel on her.

I've been looking around for a tow hitch for my fortuner for a couple of weeks now cause the prices in toyota casa is just out of my budget. As a mechanical engineer, you will understand my urge to design and fabricate my own. I've been looking at designs on the web but none is available for the fortuner chassis. The challenge is that the exhaust pipe is between the load chassis and the spare tire unlike other vans.

Would any of you have one installed already or refer me to a good shop that can fabricate one for me? I live in BF Homes Paranaque
