That's it! Yan yung hinahanap ko! P4.5T pala yan? Ang mahal pala for such a small device. Priced nearly as high as a back-up sensor! The Vigo and the Fortuner have exactly the same 3.0 D4D Turbo intercooled engine. So, there won't be any problems installing that in your 3.0V.

If you want an audible confirmation that you have armed/disarmed the alarm, just activate the function using the remote. It's off by default. Instructions are in the manual.

I'm wondering if the tiny alarm horn can be replaced with a Bosch horn for a more 'macho' beep. ;-)

For the list of future Fortuner owners, I'm sure we still want to have our unit but the only thing we are crying for is FAIRNESS for us to have a win-win situation here.

Can anyone help us in this, or is it already a dead end situation and we need to face the reality about this unfair business practice?

Can't we as a group here make a stand and let the public know and maybe somebody would listen?

I think 111prez gave his legal comment on such an action at the Toyota Fortuner: Dealership Woes thread. I remember reading one poster gathering names for a class suit/complaint to DTI.

Rumors are iniipon lang muna yung mga Fortuners right now. They'll release the units after the price has increased AGAIN. Para ma-offset yung presyo, kasi they can't force everyone to get IHI and IHF and all that other stuff.

Brought our new member of the family home, I'm feeling kinda dizzy while typing this reply because of the fumes from the rustproofing (btw guys, i'm sorry if I kinda misled some of the readers about soundproofing... It's just that every vehicle I had rustproofed sounded "newer' or "quieter" for lack of a better word after being treated). The dark gray mica actually looks kinda bluish to me, in fact when parked next to my pick-up truck ('97 Pathfinder) they look like siblings! Btw Boss Vic, please add me to the list. Thanks guys for keeping me company, hope to see you on the road. Will post some pics soon.

The new face lift model of the VIOS is on its way. They are finishing existing inventory, which is doing well. Number 1 siya kasi sa mga Med Rep. The Vios is not subject to price increase on the old model this Oct. 3. Wala pa atang stock. But surely iba yung presyo nung facelift model.

Yes, it is a dead-end. It's now each man to his own. Only those people who have obscene amounts of money can afford to get their Fortuners early. :praning:

By the way, this is the Fortuner "Owners" thread. So sympathies are a minimum here. Check out the "woes" and "boycott" threads instead.

Not necessarily unless an individual has really good connections with either a dealer or within Metrobank.

Kasi it defeats the whole purpose of the Fortuner being 'sulit'. It caught the eye of most because of the very low price, pero madami palang hidden payments.

Welcome to all owners of Toyota Fortuner [ARCHIVED]
