Hello, for Fortuner owners without KelSeats and those who use seatcovers, what type of seatcover do you use, leatherette or cloth-type?

    TIA

I'm not so sure about the VVTi lang... But, my colleague swears by the power of his 2.7G in overtaking along the NLEX. And, he says he just stayed in D.
thanks for the info sir vic. i'll try my best to stay on the D mode.

peeps, i accidentally turned the defogger switch to on while driving on a bright sunny day. it must had been switched on for quite some time before i saw it. masisira ba ito? thanks.

Nay! Buti 'di nasira... Have you tested it? Leaving it on while driving under the extreme heat of the sun for a long time can actually do more damage to your tints. It might melt and warp the tint on your rear windshield and possibly cause small bubbles to form.

Here's how the wheel well looks now...

The R/F wheel well. The foglamps are now safer. The problem is stenciling the chassis number on registration renewal...

Clips to secure the rear wheel well covers on the fenders

Had my fortuner tinted where bro vicoyski suggested sa V-Kool San Juan, da best nga sila, straight ang mga edges ng pag ka cut ng tint and kayang kaya whole piece tint for front and back and naka-aircon nga room.

when i had mine scheduled my naka sched din pala after me, white fortuner for tinting and ang ilalagay daw is the expensive v-kool (clear) tint then solar (guard magic black) tint uli. sobra lamig siguro nun. i wonder if the owner is a fellow tsikoteer = )

Is double tinting possible in one session or you have to come back after a few days to have the second layer installed?

chris, what type of tint did you get? solar gard __________?

*number001 i think there is a drying period between tints ata, the white fortuner for sched was due for the 2nd application accodring to leslie

the tint i applied is grey silver grey sa sides and the light charcoal for the back and front. pag gabi parang black sya pag umaga may hint of silver pag naiilawan

Nice! Finally a solution to the flimsy fog lamp assembly! But aside from the stenciling problems, when the undercoating needs inspection and retouching it would also be another forseeable headache. To think it almost took two hours to install it so removing it when needed is out of the question.

    Ok...

They are so prepared that they even want to know what kind of tint I wanted to put on, upon booking an appointment.

    Nice!

Where exactly is Big Bert's? I've been doing the washing myself (including the waxing, I've tried it once but it's so difficult and time-consuming that I don't want to try it again!), so now I want professionals to do it for me :D

Speaking of car washing & waxing, where's the best place to go (better if not too expensive) ?

    www.bigberts.com

Most people in this forum go to Big Berts for their car washing and detailing needs. I believe the price is reasonable.
