I don't own a VIOS.
Can Changing your Transmission Fluid Cause Damage? - YouTube
Very informative.

Salamat

these proves my side, thank you so much
inspect at every 40,000 KM for contamination, first replace at 160,000 KM then every after 80,000 km, the first checklist provided was when super long life coolant wasn't even used, thus the old checklist should be revised to the new standards...
save your money and the environment, read the users manual, coolant is not a part of the severe conditions because it is not being contaminated by any other fluid (cooling system is pressurized sealed system) not unless there is a leak...

^Wala ba talagang takip yan?
Alam ko pinababa at nilinis tong aircon namin...so baka mamaya napitik tong cover na to...
Will check mamya. Mukhang may kulang nga na part dahil may insulating foam around the edge.
I followed your suggestion, tama nga hehe.
Guys, sorry to post my question here instead of asking in the Yaris section. I just got my 1.5G Yaris and noticed that the LCD Head Unit that Toyota installed is a bit misaligned. It's a bit noticeable since the bottom part is not symmetrical with the bottom panel. Those that have the new Head Unit LCD display, is this common or normal? Or should I have it repaired by Toyota?
Another thing I noticed is the steering wheel is not centered. Is this normal too or can this easily be fixed?
Thanks!
I just want to ask if kailangan na bang palitan yung timing belt * 80k odo reading? kaka-60k lang nung sa amin 2011 Vios 1.3E A/T.
^ nope. Walang timing belt ang vios. Chain type sya. Di basta basta pinapalitan

Hi Everyone,
Looks like this thread is more active compared to the Yaris PH one! Questions for a new Yaris owner. :-) I just noticed that the steering wheel does not lock after I take out the ignition key. The SA told me that the model does not have a steering lock. Is that really the case?
Also, the stock battery seems to not be the maintenance-free type. I assume that you need to top up the battery fluid every so often?
Thanks in advance for the feedback!
It will still lock. Remove the key and turn the steering wheel. You will hear or feel a click when it locks.
My other car has a Japanese-brand battery with fluid caps. It still starts strong and I haven't received advice from the casa to top it up after more than a year of use.
