Same problem. no choice walang copy ng ganyan mabibili kahit saan inikot ko na. yun ibang nabibili hindi bagay sa likod ng vios. ang bagsak ko sa casa 8k

Rubber ba sya or plastic, yung OEM? I wonder why walang copy nito sa mga bodykit shops.

Not yet. I figured madumi na kasi yung evaporator nito so too late na lagyan ng filter.

Kapag kailangan magservice ng aircom, dun ko papabutasan although kaya naman sya DIY

Yung sakin 2003 wala din.

Ang gen1 kasi binubutas pa ang housing para.malagyan ng filter. Gen2 and gen3 may abang na butas na pero gen3 lang ang may cabin filter na standard sa bnew delivery

Sakin 2003 wala. Pero may natanungan ako sa banawe pwede daw lagyan pero bubutasin muna saka manipis na filter daw (P350). Nung may binili naman ako fluid sa toyota mismo natanong ko din sabi lang sakin not applicable ung 2003 model.

Sa youtube may nakita ako binutasan saka nilagyan ng filter, pero sa thailand na vios. Di ko lang sure kung meron na ibang gumawa dito nun.

Ok dun sir. Madalas ako dun bumili ng mga pyesa kahit lumang vios na gamit ko. Tatanungin ka muna kung replacement o oem nag bibilhin mo na parts.

Madalas replacement lang kinukuha ko, mga minor lang naman.

After oil change 20k, gamit ko yung 10w30 ni zic. Nawala yung ingay nya sa Arangkada.

Mahilig ka sa red paps. sir crave yung car alarm ng 2nd gen mo stock tvss ba? Ikaw ba yung nagpa-add module sa banawe para magkaroon ng lock and unlock sound using stock key fob?

Wala kasing ibang magandang color sa J variant. Hehe

Re: module alarm, yep pinalagyan ko nang module (Cobra brand) para magkaroon ng shock sensor at sound yung lock and unlock yung 2nd gen ko. Wala kasing silbi yung TVSS natin kapag binasag yung salamin. Sa Banawe ko nabili yung module around Php 1.2k to 1.4k way back 2011 or 2012 yata.

I got to use a 2nd gen Vios every time my 3rd gen was sent in for servicing before.

The 3rd gen is a really big improvement over the 2nd gen. They use the same engine and transmission, but the newer one has much better highway stability, better NVH, and nimbler handling. The old one felt every bit like a subcompact - the new one feels much more refined. Looks much better inside and out, and has more space inside too.

Only advantage of the old one is that it's lighter and had more useful cubby holes. Oh, and better FC by about 1 km/L from my experience for the AT models.

ang alam ko ay isa lang baterya niyan... yung nasa tabi ng makina. nasaan po ang pangalawang baterya?
baka kaya, nagpakabit yung dating owner ng isa pa, para sa kanyang mga hi-power na laruang matakaw sa kuryente?

as to the battery type, it should be in the owner's manual. but kung wala, call up motolite outlet and ask. memoryado nila yan.

Bit the bullet and ordered an OEM XX Ducktail sa casa. Pricey pero IMO yun lang kasi babagay sa 2nd gen. Nothing beats OEM hehe. Vitz 16s mags na lang kulang. Someone imports them from Japan for P25k without tires pa. Worth it ba? Mahal ng gulong eh aabutin din ako ng around 12k. I really like it though. Unique dahil rare sya sa Pinas.
