manual says change all fluids every 40k. no need to flush coolant instead of drain only just like when change your oil.

One thing I think I skipped was the fuel filter? They said it's every 40k, I thought it was at 50k, your thoughts? Ang mahal din kasi.

just follow the PMS as stated in owner's manual. Saving a little bit of money on PMS could lead to long-term damage.

guys, kaya ba nila gawin pag mag paparepaint ng metallic orange na tulad ng gen 3? gen 1 po kasi emerald orange ata, dati ko po plano kasi parepaint ng white pero baka di pulido pagrepaint at darating time na kukupas at makikita orange sa engine bay sa gilid ng doors etc... same lang ba babayaran pag from emerald orange to metallic white/ metallic orange? kasi change color parin tawag sa kanya kahit different shade lang?

magkano pa-repaint? depende siguro yan sa, among other things, kung "special blend yung pintura". ask lang po kayo sa pintor.
as regards LTO naman, they do not discriminate among variants of the same basic color. no need to apply for change color.

thanks sa reply sir, pano pag sa casa kaya? wash over price different sa change color price, from emerald orange to metallic orange is considered change color na? hand me down lang po kasi galing sa papa ko gamit ko and repaint sasagutin nya, gusto nya casa kasi dun daw may oven. halos lahat ng medium-major pms and major repairs po kasi casa nya linalakad (40k pms, bangga etc.)

All i know is mas mahal sa casa? Haha. Share ko lang, umabot lang sa 10k ung wash over sa lancer namin before. From metallic grey to a little darker grey. Haha. Bat mura? Home service at kilala namin ung nagtrabaho who's working in a casa. Change color? Maybe 30k more or less? The best thing to do is punta ka sa suking casa pati na sa mga malapit na casa dun and ask for an estimate ;)

di naman po ako sasagot sa repaint and kesa bilihan niya ako bago baka naisip okay na repaint nalang, ok lang din sakin kasi first time car owner and ok na 10 y.o car for the purpose na magkaexperience sa pag alaga(maintenance, proper detailing etc). so possible yung wash over from this shade to this shade? sana sa casa din, thanks sa input sir

most hilamoses are performed, using ordinary ordinary temperature.
oven-baked painting needs an enclosed space with heating system. of course it'll be more expensive compared to ordinary paint drying or curing. the process also entails more meticulous (mabusisi) procedures, which may result in longer downtime.

i don't think so, read it again and prove me wrong about the coolant... my purpose here is to guide users to the correct path on what is stated on the users manual, a thing that engineers didn't waste their time just to find what to write on it and is legally liable for any mistakes written on it

Uhm unang una, babae ako. Haha. Pangalawa, nashare ko lang ung cost ng wash over nung lancer namin para may idea nga sa cost. Wala bang problema sa gagastusin? Edi dalhin mo na agad sa casa ;) Ano bang car pala yan? Haha

I suggest that you look for shops that specialize in car painting. You can look around, ask questions, and get a feel of the quality of work you might get for the quoted price.

Most casas do not have a dedicated paint shop and they outsource paint jobs to the lowest bidder.

nagtanong ako sa the wet look, 40k change color, 32k wash over, 8k lang dagdag para change color thinking of dark metallic silver(convince ko papa ko since 8k lang kahit ako na mag shoulder) para sa gen 1 vios para mas mag mukhang modern, ok lang kaya yung kulay? all stock siya. sunod mags gun metal color pero matagal ko pa pag iipunan hehe

Im using duraplus. Two tires sa likod 4 years na. Sa front 3 years. Odo is at 79k plus. Byahe ng oto q.c to zambales to tagaytay (vice versa). Madalas long drive. Top speed i did 170kph at sctex. Ok na ok. Matagal maupod ang duraplus. Vios E 2010 model.
