I don't own a VIOS.
the statement wasn't on the manual. it was in the advertisement, which was all over the place.
i had a manual once. the pasted-over fuel octane rating was 91. flashing a strong light under the paper, i thought the original read 93 or 95... nasayangan siguro sa stock of "un-corrected" manuals.
Who's using Achilles tires? Not the 123S though. I'm planning to buy a new set of tires na kasi. Ok ba Achilles? Pag GT Radial anong model dapat bilhin? Champiro ba yun? 195/55/R15 sana. Worth it din ba Toyo DRB?
:bwahaha:

Not only you but each of us tsikoteer wants to share and help our fellow members to the best of our KSA. Now going back to the coolant issue, I can't find my owner's manual but what I got from my PC file, was the TMPC preventive maintenance checklist (attached herewith) posted by our fellow member way back. If the checklist is still doubtful, I will try look into the forum thread source but it takes a long time to repost. perhaps who ever posted the checklist kindly acknowledge para di na tayo mahirapan mag-dig up sa threads.
AFAIK TMPC come up that checklist, suitable in MM heavy traffic condition. If you notice item nos 5 in checklist, it says "replace radiator coolant" either 20k, 40k and so forth. It's illogical to replace the coolant when the car mileage reached 100K KM as what you said in your post 10258.
if you're not still convinced to my post nos 10259 then it's your turn to prove me wrong. The burden of proof is now in your side.

Salamat
btw pag gusto ko totally drain the coolant, ilan liters need ko to refill? may nagsabi 4, may nagsabi naman 6. salamat![]()
Thanks to both of you for sharing these infos. Lesson learned...never ever change your coolant when it reached 100k mileage . Case Closed coolant issue kumpanero.
if you don't mind tips for draining & refilling the coolant.
1. flush the radiator with water -when the coolant is totally drained from radiator, flush it with water using garden hose. to make sure only ma-flush out ang kalawang or small debris inside ng radiator.
2. Coolant Refill- fill up until coolant is visible but a few inches below cap level of the radiator. Start the engine but don't accelerate. the coolant level will lower as the engine sucks in coolant. Continue to fill with coolant until the level stabilizes then install and tighten the cap.
3. finally, fill up the plastic coolant reservoir with coolant up to max level only. Hwag punuin ng coolant pls. Goodluck bro.
