Update on my FC using Petron Blaze 100:
FC: 16.01km/ liter
90% Highway; 10% City

Take note that most of the time 5 pax yung laman (puno rin yung compartment) due to OH. I think I can do better kung hindi lang ako nag-hataw pauwi kagabi sa Star Toll nung nag-hatid ako sa Ibaan, Batangas.

inquiry naman guys para sa mga nka 1.5 G manual dito sa thread, ano ang usual na fuel consumption nyo?

mas makatipid ba ko sa fual consumption if 1.5 L instead of 1.3 if most of the time i have 5 adult passengers on board? or mas matipid padin si 1.3L? any advise or information might help a lot..

Saw an add sa servitek alabang, tempting full rust proofing for the vios is around 3k only and they will ise 3m. Oks kaya ito? Sablay kasi undercoating ng casa kaya papauliy ko kesa pabalikbalik ako sa q.ave. any feedback mga sir?

Shet kakainggit highest Fc ko sa blaze is ~15kpl lang walang hataw mode. Pero now happy with phoenix 98 parang same ng tipid with blaze.

Di ako makabalik sa x97 wala stock sa molino blvd. Sa daang hari naman phase out na. Bwiset.

pre pagundercoating lang parang 1800 petot only.

pag full rustproofing (tulad ng ziebart) 3200 petot or 2800 petot ata.

regular add nila sa shop sa Servitek Alabang at ang label hindi Servitek 3M mismo may gawa ng pricelist.

sabi ng tech, pati daw ung loob ng pintuan bubugahan ng rust proofing for added protection pati ung loob ng trunk (door).

kaya nga tempting eh. balak ko anytime this week sana, kaso hanap pa ako feedback kasi pati ung dalawa ipapaundercoat ko na din.

in my opinion, with today's factory paint technology, aftermarket rustproofing is second only to "free spare tire and tools"...

true Sir. unfortunately the free undercoating of my vios, is substandard if not "para masabing emron lang". though alam ko naman na originally rustproofed na ito, it will add additional layer of protection to the area that is hard to reach during cleaning and inspection.

same wiht my sentra, the rust atarted from inside. hope this iwll not happen on my vios Sir.

what i want to say is, you do not need undercoating.
the very first part to rust in my 1997 sentra, was the front fender edge, the lowermost posterior aspect that bolts onto the body.. the bulutong started showing 14 years after manufacture.. not bad, for an original-factory rustproof and nothing more.. and to think i did absolutely nothing to prevent rusting, save for the roofed garage..

and what is the number one instigator of body rust? a botched body repair job..

My '95 Lancer had no undercoat. I know because I spent quite a lot of time under it. I got it 3rd hand so I don't know how the previous owner took care of it (and based on its problems PMS was the last thing on the previous owners agenda). Found rust only in the deep underbody scratches and in the lowest thinnest part of the rear fender.

Benefit lang siguro ng undercoat ay better noise insulation and additional protection against pebbles. Requirement siguro sya sa mga laging nalulubog sa tubig dagat like the CAMANAVA area. Otherwise you can live without it IMHO.

no need for that rubbery rust proofing.. it will only attract dirt... rust will only start on portions of the car the retains water..

I agree... even the service managers of the casas would tell you that undercoat and rust-proofing are not really needed... They just offer it for to add to their sales. May mga quota kasi yung mga service advisers.

Yung ibang auto-shops naman, they offer it kasi malaki yung gross margin. More than 600%.

if your ride is frequently subjected to floods, the better anti-rust treatment is absolutely nothing. adding any aftermarket layer will just trap moisture and make rust set in even faster..

E paano pag may isang part ng underchassis ko na natanggal ang factory rustproof dahil sumayad sa humps? Exposed na yung bakal medyo nakakabother lang. Matagal na rin to. Iniisip ko nga kung papalagyan ko ng undercoat, or baka may treatment munang dapat gawin dun sa exposed metal para di pagmulan ng rust.

that's easy. go down and under, and use a metal brush to scrape away the rust. when nice and shiny, apply rust converter (some don't, however, when the metal is smooth and shiny and not pitted). then apply primer. when dry, paint over.
my beef with undercoat applicators, is that they sometimes do not know the basics of painting.. and that is, they should remove the rust or moisture first, before painting over or coating over..

May nabibili bang pang touch up na pang repair ng paint yung tipong parang pentel pen or cu-tics or spray paint para sa 2012 Light Blue Mica na vios.

Meron kasi ako nakikita pero ibang kulay o dark blue.

Naka bili na rin ako ng blue na spray paint dalawang beses na po iba po talaga ang shade, medyo halata. Ayaw ko pa rin pa repaint kasi konti pa pero mamalim na gasgas abot hanggang primer ayaw ko rin ipunin yung gasgas.
