Additional question guys , ano pang linis niyo sa car ceiling ng auto niyo? mine kasi yung parang carpet type na ceiling same sa door sidings gusto ko linisin eh ano recommended products for that? thank you guys!

Guys Just to give you an update and also need your help as well

Ok i already went to JP Wheels sucat ( near paranaque city hall )

got my suspension checked , same findings shock mountings need to be replaced na tlaga , inadd kona din yung front shock absorbers so we agreed 500 , sabi ko balik ako bukas to buy the parts
sabi nila may shock mounting daw sila orig they're selling it 2k dalawa na kaya lang i doubt kung orig since di ako marunong tumingin non saka kinuha niya lang dun sa mga stock nila sa tabi tabi parang nakalabas lang ni walang box or something pero sabi niya orig daw yon 2500 talaga yon bibigay niya nalang ng 1k each
then i said meron nako bibilan 650 lang , sabi niya replacement lang daw yon so i just acknowledge sabi ko balik nalang ako when i got the parts na

I went to alabang auto parts today to buy the front shock absorbers (P4800 pair KYB brand) so tinanong kona din yung shock mounting so the salesperson from alabang auto parts confirmed that it was just a replacement , she gave me 2 brands eh forgot the name. then yun na hindi ko muna binili since hindi nnga siya orig brand , i asked magkano yung orig got shocked 2k+ each eh kapos na sa budget so eto ngayon ang question ko

1. May naka exp naba gumamit ng replacement na shock mounting? its around P600 to P800 each , yung orig around P2000 plus , i just want to know your inputs guys kung pwede naba muna ang replacement na hindi original na shock mounting? since ang mahal talaga eh medyo kakapusin ako sa budget , siguro naman kung tatagal yung replacement shock mounting ng 6 months to a year i will accept it na , pero i just wnat to know your experience using shock mounting na hindi original

2. Kung yun namang shock mounting sa JP wheels ang bilin ko which is they claimed orig daw kaya lang wala talaga sa box parang pinagpalitan or something basta nasa tambakan ng mga shocks nila dun sa harap mismo nung angatan nila ng kotse if you (already went there you know what i mean). dun lang nakalagay yung shock mounting and he's selling it to me ng 2k pair na at sabi niya orig yon , sabi niya pa nga huwag ko daw bilin yung replacement kasi if ever magkaproblema mas mapapagastos pako so he's like salestalking me para yun ang bilin ko yung shock mounting na binebenta nila na sabi niya orig daw. pano ko kaya ma guarantee na orig yon? shall i take thier word for it or if ever nagka problema sa shock mounting thats the time na babalikan ko sila?


please advice guys so basically ang choice ko is yung replacement na P650 each not orig replacement lang forgot the name of the brand

or yung sa JP wheels na wala na sa box and they are just claiming it na orig? 2k pair na

please guys i need your advice , di kona kasi pwede patagalin yung issue ko sa front shocks so i badly need help , will go to JP wheels tomorrow and your input would be a great help for me

since they're saying it's original, go for it. however, ask for a warranty na almost the same as the brand new oem part heheh :D.

as you said, you can get by a year with the cheap replacements. why not take their word na lang along with their warranty. my 2 cents.

vios gen 2. washing time for the auto seat covers (a freebie from the casa). Question: How do you remove/detach 2nd row seat and backrest? I tried to wrestle it by pulling outward but both are holding up. Can you guys advise? Thanks.

From gen 1 yung seat mismo try pulling it up matatanggal yun. Tapos may bolt para matanggal naman sandalan. Maybe same lng to sa gen 2

My question is para sa yaris sana pero mukhang di masyado active ung yaris group here so try ko nlng dito sa vios group kc pareho nmn un built ng yaris at vios... atleast as far as I know

I just bought a used 2007 yaris M/T and nun una ok cya sa lahat but after a week I observed parang may knocking sound coming from underneath the car sa may driver side. Di nmn masyado rinig un sound pero pag nadaan sa tlagang malubak na kalsada may maririnig ka na parng something loose.

Pinakita ko sa Toyota Casa and wala nmn daw cla nakita except loose bolts. So hinigpitan lng nila and parang nawala nga un knocking sound pero after 2 weeks bumalik nnmn. May nahit ata ako kcng mejo malalim na pothole the other day. May naka experience na po ba ng ganito?

I tried to seach sa web... nakita ko parang similar issue sa yarisworld club (Warning - Broken control arm bolt! - Page 11 - Toyota Yaris Forums - Ultimate Yaris Enthusiast Site). Due to corroded bolt#2 daw sa may lower control arm. Anyone experience this? TIA

i experience strange sounds from the underchassis, from time to time. and it usually goes away upon replacing the worn part.
it appears you have a worn part, but haven't identified it yet. keep looking.
i had experience once, in my other non-toyota.. napalitan na lahat.. nandoon pa rin situnog.. finally, nakita na.. yung rack end sa loob ng rubber boot.. pinalitan.. nawala ingay.
tiyaga lang sa pag-hanap..

Mukhang mapapagastos nga ako nito. As they probably need to replace un what they think is worn-out or possible parts that need to be replaced to isolate the issue. Un mga knocking sounds tlaga mahirap idiagnose kc it can come from any moving part underneath.

Ano po usually ung pinpapagawa sa 40k na maintenance? Gusto ko kc ipa40k maintenance un oto ko kc di ko sure kung ano un minantain ng previous owner para alam ko papagawa ko in the future (55k na pla mileage ko). Nun nagtanong ako sa Toyota Casa around 16k daw. Tama lng ba un price nila?

Or baka nmn puede ko ng pagawa un sa Shell service center? sabi kc nun SA sa toyota major maintenance daw un kaya gnun kamahal...

Check your manual. Nakalista don ang mga kelangan palitan at 40k. Shell can do it cheaper basta it's better if you know what needs to be changed and buy the parts elsewhere.

as long as you know what the 15K pms consists of.. these off-casa guys know only the basic oil change, fluids inspect, and brake inspect.. beyond that, you may have to instruct them..
but if it's only oil and filter change... i go to petron.. because thay have this all-in promo..

Guys do you know any reliable shops that can reface break disc rotor?
South Area ha. there's a weird chug chug sound with my ride, even patag yung daan and especially when stepping on the breaks , sabi nung kakilala namin na mekaniko need refacing na , eh ang singil niya sakin 3500 tapos sa valenzuela pa gagawin yung oto because dun siya nag ttrabaho eh ang layo , gusto ko sana yung dito lang sa south kasi hassle pag dun pa talo na sa gasolina mahal pa singil . need your advice guys thank you

Mga boss question, si vios 2010 ko meron nang squeaky sound sa makina pagstart. feeling ko belt na dumudulas pero pag nagtagal nawawala rin. naririnig ko rin to minsan sa mga taxi. meron na kayang palitin na belt dito? parang gusto ko na palitan kahit ok pa kasi nakakairita lang ung sound pagkastart sa umaga TIA.

Onting adjustment lang yan. Ganyan din yung 2011 ko pagkalabas ng casa. Pinaadjust ko sa 1k checkup ok na hanggang ngayon.

it might not be your brakes (brakes po, hindi breaks).. it might be your tires.. have them checked..
as regards refacing of disks, it's an easy procedure that can be done in any decent machine shop.. many of those tambay mechanics beside auto supply stores can do it, if there's a machine shop nearby.. and there usually is..
