    Good day Sir!

1st gen 2003 1.5AT owner here (all stock). Gusto ko lang sana macompare ung ibang kasabayan na model if same pa din ng fuel consumption as of to date.

City driving 10-12km/L - medium to heavy traffic (relaxed to moderate speed; 1-2 passenger)
Manila to Isabela (400+km) 22-24km/L - light to medium traffic (moderate to spirited driving; 2-3 passenger)

    Thank you.

any auto parts store has that, its just a standard 2 pin 21w brake light, you can even use the ones jeepneys use * P10 a piece compared to a stanley which cost more than P40-120 a piece

and yes, you can convert to a LED, it will last forever but the cost is not justifiable for me...

As an assembly yan pinapalitan. Tatanggalin mo yan tapos palitan mo ng bagong assembly.

nasa sa iyo na po yan.
that is entirely up to you, sir.

no one can make that decision for you.

Sorry kung di masyado malinaw ang tanong.

What I mean is, for it's price point, marami na ba ang goodies like power windows, power lock, abs, airbags etc?

perhaps if i put it in another way...

    in my opinion only..
for the same price, maybe a bit less... i might be able to get another car that has more toys, bells and whistles, than the vios.
but it won't be a toyota vios.
it might not even be a toyota, for all the real and perceived advantages and dis-advantages that marquee suggests.
    so what will i buy?

that, i feel, is your conundrum..
and that, only you can answer.

that fact that there are many other non-vios cars on the road today, is indication of consumers' different values when buying a car.

*kurochan_24: Here's what you can do.

    1. Make a comparison chart.
    2. List all car models with similar price of the Vios.
    3. List and compare the spec and features of each car.
    4. Test drive your top 3 choices.
    5. Buy the car that makes you feel good.

    HTH.

Thanks. I was looking at Wigo, kaya lang nagdadalawang isip pa ako kung I would be better off with a bigger car, hence I'm inquiring about Vios, the cheapest one available that is.

the wigo is a small car. all the road imperfections will be very palpable. and if you or your family are on the big side, you might find the wigo uncomfortable.
also, it's got a small engine. bisikleta at tao lang yata ang puede mong harurutin..
but i like my wigo.. because it is small and does battle with the tricycles in our area. i bring it to cramped places where i would not dare bring my bigger vehicle to.
also, the wigo's fuel efficiency easily falls prey to heavy traffic.
in addition, some contributors here may recommend the mirage over the wigo. they feel it is the technologically superior product.

so what do i recommend you? vios. kahit base model. "because once you buy a car, you can not buy additional passenger space."
    and also because it's a T.
