shop i bought the coolant from confirmed that i can return and refund the unused coolant and ATF so i am not complaining, or i can use the coolant on our other Toyota vehicles
Okay. I will have to add 1 or 2 bottles of coolant. Cannot return or exchange when bought from Casa but they do give discount for card holder.

    1. Oil (Zic X7 Diesel 10W40),
    2. Oil filter (Wix WL7172)
    3. Oil drain bolt gasket/crush washer
    4. Intake air filter (Denso)
    5. Cabin air filter
    6. Bosch Diesel fuel filter (under consideration if it requires replacing at 34k/3.5 years)
    7. Other PMS items will be done at the dealer
i replace the fuel filter every 15K km, for peace of mind lang. orig costs around 850, replacement ones at around 300-500
pwede pa naman i-extend beyond 15K, praning lang ako i guess mahal magpa rebuild/linis ng injection pump and/or injectors since CRDI na ito

^ i was not able to get the filter part number, pero i specified my year model and engine

sabi ng parts store, gasket maker will be sufficient na daw, kahit hindi yung original Toyota 1-piece(?) gasket

edit: Toyota BGC called back and informed that the part number is 35330-60030

If you drop the oil-pan, it may usually require replacement of gasket and torque it evenly as if it was against a flat marble surface. Esp those felt-paper like gasket, they break easily when improperly torqued. Silicon gasket maker usually leak over time if not properly bedded-in the pan-lip/gasket-slot.

I will be going to have my timing belt replaced including the water pump this weekend and the shop told me I need 4 to 5 bottles of toyota pre-mixed so I guess your right with the coolant. Btw the shop quoted me the following:

    T- belt (oem toyota) - 3,300
    Tensioner (koyo) - 2,300
    Water pumo (gmb) - 4,100
    Labor - 4,500

Are the price reasonable? I will be buying T-Belt from toyota which is much cheaper but other items im not quite sure. For the idler bearing and oil seals the shop told me no need to replaced if no problem.

^ no idea sa prices, we haven't changed t-belts pa kasi, puro chain-driven or timing gear yung iba

i would have replaced the seals if i were you kasi sayang ang labor
malayo ba presyo ng OEM tensioner vs Koyo? reputable brand naman yun pero kung di naman nalalayo, i'd go OEM
parang mahal yung water pump for a replacement GMB

I always buy from Toyota for the parts and have little knowledge on where to buy aftermarket brand from reputable store. I appreciate if you can provide the number of the shop selling Koyo and GMB so that I can compare prices. For the oil seals are there 2 oil seals or just 1? also the idler bearing do I need to replaced this? Casa recommend to replace it but the shop told me not to replaced if no problem. Im getting different answers.

here's what i've found on another thread

i trust Gant and ATCO at Pasay near LRT Taft for spare parts, Gant almost exclusively sells Toyota parts

you may try asking them what are the "might as well" replace items when changing the timing belt

so, maari mong hindi pagsabayin ang palit ng water pump at t-belt in the case of the 2kd

Mga bro, I have an Innova 2008 Gas and I religiously do a PMS outside of casa every 5k km with change oil (15w40) and oil filter change. I am reading a 130,000 km ODO but I have not done a fuel filter change and now I realized that it should have been done every 40,000km. What is the part number of the fuel filter for our Innova? Could I use another brand other than OEM for that fuel filter?

By the way, wala akong problema so far.... But still the same, I think it is already long over due, right? I do not have to wait na magka problema dahil hindi ko napalitan di ba?

Aside from fuel filter, do I have to perform any change of the ATF? I have read kasi na I only have to check the ATF level every now and then...

Any unit owners using Petron ATF as their power steering fluid? no problems so far? Because some psf might be too abrasive and would damage the hose.

At 120k it should be major (replace all filters and fluids).

FF is environmental/cartridge-type, lots of store selling online.

With the ATF, if it was not replaced every 40k then don't replace it since new fluid will dislodge the dirt and clog/damage the pump/solenoid. There is a procedure of changing ATF gradually to avoid damaging the tranny.

Any ATF within specs should work just fine. There is no such as abrasive PSF not unless it is used/contaminated. PSF is just an oil so it should lubricate while working on heat/pressure.

I have seen some psf with stop leak in the label ans was thinking the abrasiveness that might cause such. Anyway thank you for the insight.

Sir, thank you for the part number. Went to casa to inquire, at first the sales person told me that fuel filters for gasoline engines seldom are changed but I told him that the owners manual says that it should be changed after 40,000km and he checked their system and said that the filter is part of the fuel pump and the whole assembly is around 16,000.00. I was then held aback and remembered your part number you provided and the sales person in casa then said that that fuel filter part costs around 3,500.00. I took pictures of the OEM fuel filter but did not purchase yet. Checked online sellers of the fuel filter and saw one Nitro yung brand and cost 400.00 sa lazada. Will be looking from local auto parts stores but can you please suggest a reputable brand for fuel filters that I'm looking for... thanks in advance
