it's all in your owner's manual, po.
you have but to discipline yourself and read them.

but keep it in D and the car does the correct decision in over 99 percent of the time.

    Inquiry lang po.

    2. When to use S4, S5, S6?
    3. When to use and stop using D (pag sa expressway po ba, ok pa rin gamitin si D?)

    Salamat sa sasagot! [emoji1]
    1. Engine Revolutions per Minute (RPM). Useful when in Sports mode.

2 and 3. Use D when you want the computer to do all the decisions for you as far as which gear to use for the given situation. Use Sports mode if you want to be more involved in the driving experience and you want to manually choose your own shift points based on your current speed and RPM.

Thanks po! Btw, do I need to maintain my rpm within 1-2? Pansin ko kasing nagbabago siya (taas/baba) when I shift from s4 to s5 or s6 and vice versa hehe

Pero pag naka D, constant siya at 1.5. Di naman po masisira D kahit nasa expressway (100 - 160 kph) no?

My recommendation is, until you already have a full understanding of your powertrain modes, keep it in D. Fool-proof yan. If you have Eco-mode, use that too.

The rpm meter is the tachometer..it tells you how hard your engine is working..high rpm is gas guzzling

You cease using D when you are driving downhill and engage those low gears to prevent your brakes from overheating because technically you are engine braking (engine will purr [high rpm] in this case but its all good for the health of ur cars brake even if your car is equipped with an insurance called ABS)

    1. Tachometer. Indicates engine speed (vehicle speed ang sa right, speedometer yun). Lower means better fuel consumption. I advice keeping it below 2000 r/min for fuel efficiency.

    2. Use S1 to S6 kapag pababa ang kalsada like for instance pababa ka galing Baguio or Subic. (Note na BUMAGAL lang at hindi HUMINTO. The lower the S gear, mas malakas ang engine brake. The higher, the weaker the engine break.

It seems that the link is for the 2KD variant of Innova and not the 1GD.

Actually may nakita ako sa facebook from LED Lights PH, may LED turn signal bulb sila na hindi nagha-hyperflash kahit hindi ka magpalit ng flasher relay or wala kang resistor. I reckon built-in sa bulb yung resistor if that's even allowed. I haven't tried it yet though, kasi kung may resistor talaga siya sa bulb possible na yung bulb mismo yung iinit with prolonged use. Possibly sa base ng bulb. Pero I chatted with the seller at sabi niya di rin naman daw umiinit talaga sa bulb base, so ewan ko na lang talaga. Here's a link to their video. Can't say I'm not interested though, kaso I want others to try it as well just to be sure.

Hi folks. I need help. I bought a 3rd party power tailgate for my 2017 Innova. I've gone through several mechanics, walang makapagkabit. Would greatly appreciate for any recommendations preferrably Laguna area. TIA.

I believe it's not available in the Philippines.
If its not available here, thats the reason why you cannot find an installer. No installer wants to install and blamed (if sh*t happens). If its electrical, i suggest get a schematic and ask and electrician to install. Reys of marikina or wizzard at timog might help you

Here are the price breakdown for the parts alone:

    Timing Belt - 2,800
    Tensioner - 4,000
    Idler Bearing - 2,800
    Oil Seals - 1,360
    Water Pump - 6,850

Total of 17,810. That's why I'm looking for reliable aftermarket brand for the above parts to reduce cost. Yes to be safe also I'm replacing it before it reaches 100k mark.
