May nagpalinis na ba sa inyo ng throttle body at MAF sensor for innova gas? Ano ba effect sa makina pag pinalinisan ko ito? 122k KM na 09 innova ko at so far wla naman problem sa idling pero curious lang ako baka makatulong sa performance ng makina.

Mga sir, sinabay ko yung cleaning ng MAF Sensor at yung pagpailt ng fuel filter, hindi ko alam kung dahil lang ba sa pagpalit ng fuel fiter pero talagang maganda na yung takbo ng Innova Gas ko.... 130,000km ODO

6.5km/liter is ok if youre drving in edsa traffic daily.

what are the tire pressures?

Sir/s, Planning to upgrade yuong headlight ng Innova 2017 to a projector / LED type (yuong pang V). ask ko lang help nyo sa wiring diagram ng pang V headlight. not sure kung the same ng pin config yuong 8-pin socket sa stock na natrace ko (error uploading the image). Yuong nakita kung additional 4-pin (para sa 4 LED) ang concern ko din, kung 12v ba directly supply nya or mas mababa volts and needed. Thanks in advance sa inyo.

Looking at the different Innova variants, is it really the best to get the diesel variant? Aside from the price of diesel being a bit cheaper - why is it better to pick the diesel variant? Would be nice to get input from Innova gas owners. Thanks

Pangit cabin seal ng Innova. Even though it is set to recirculate, there’s maybe 30% outside air leaking in. Ang bilis maglibag ng soot ang interior as a result. Lalo na yung rear A/C.

Anyway, mula nung nag mod ako to cover up external vents (front and rear) as much as I can, outside air intrusion was drasticaly reduced... though, not totally eliminated. It’s fine as it is para meron pa rin ‘new’ air coming in and we don’t run into a risk of running out of oxygen.

Sir ano po mga tinakpan mo na mga external vents? Mine is naamoy ko po kasi mga usok galing sa labas. Thanks!

i have D4d with MT.
at least 9-10 km/li.
but i don't edsa on weekdays.

my D4d AT does 7.5-8 km/li.

but my figures may be biased, as my usual trip is only 5.5 km long.
the engine had just reached optimum working temperature, when i arrive at my destination.

standstill traffic is 0 km/li.
it really eats up gas, going nowhere.

2013 Innova G vvti owner here. Kung hindi madalas puno ang sakay mo at hindi ka naman aabot ng 15k km/year then I think gas is ok. Ang gusto ko talaga sa gas at naging deciding factor ko ay yung comfortability kse tahimik at very minimal ang vibration. Yung diesel kse maingay lalo na sa umaga pagka start at ramdam vibration lalo na pag naka idle or nasa stand still traffic. Tapos pag nag hard acceleration naman bubugahan ka ng maitim na usok.

Pero kung conscious ka sa price ng gas vs diesel then it's really up to you. Compute mo rin roi ng price difference. Baka by the time na mabawi mo yung roi or baka hindi mo pa nababawi eh gusto mo na rin ibenta yung sasakyan.

In my case my Innova is already 6+ years with 45k+ odo. Puno lang kami pag punta ng mall with my pamangkins para isang sasakyan lang normally 8 pax. Pag long drive naman (bicol) normally 4 lang sakay + luggage.

So far so good. No issues.

Btw, planning to upgrade to Fort Gas pa rin.

the diesel's real un-argueable achilles heel, is the one that the user does not see: pollution. it really puts out more pollution than the equivalent gas engine. bad for the environment, any way you look at it.
its second fault, is... "never race a diesel against a gas". mapapahiya ka. but there are exceptions. there always are. although, some have said that the gas innova is somewhat... sluggish.
and the vibration. as hom above says, diesels usually vibrate more than gas. but this un-acceptability i am willing to suffer, because i like its advantages.

very roughly, i-the-gas owner would be paying 24K pesos more per year than diesel owner, on fuel alone.
if the price difference between diesel and gas vehicle is 100K, it would take 4 years to break even, based on fuel expense alone. beyond 4 years, the diesel is cheaper.

maintenance and cost of operation? this is where i like the diesel.
basically, there's nothing much to maintain in a diesel engine, that the gas engine won't have to undergo as well. oil and filter change only.
i haven't replaced anything in my diesel engine since new. 2005 model and 130K km traveled. it has no sparking plugs, no high tension cables.

then, there is this urban legend that diesels are more water-resistant than gas.
i'm... not willing to have mine tested against this.
i probably will avoid floods just like anybody else.
