Fluid is cheap. As a way to ensure I'll get the most out of my A/T, I decided that I would replace the ATF every 30,000 km or 2 years, whichever comes first.
    coolant (at full level parin),,
diffrential gear fluid - not yet inspected
my tyres will worn out soon pudpod narin ayaw ko na antayin makalbo o mabutasan ako feeling ko dito ako malaki gastos mahal pala goma
, seldom use, madalas short trips around 10-20kms lang

I changed my differential oil at 80k kms, Done by the casa
And I think the goodyear assurance fuel max really helps in the fc.

Mga boss, magkanu insurance ng innova natin? Nag dp ako ng P500k and they less P33k for the insurance. Bale P473k na lang yun dp ko.

Except for Honda. Sira kaagad basta Hindi galing casa ang fluid
magkano palit ng clutch assembly, at magkano ATF replacement?
ilang beses MT replacement? ilang beses nagpalit ATF?

i've had over 100K in my MT, and i haven't had issue to open the bell housing, yet.
kung AT, naka-ilang ATF replacement na kaya..?

may mga napalitan nako ng clutch disk ranging from pickups, vans to tractors.

    let's just agree to disagree!

120K annual insurance.. all that money for insurance alone... you could buy a new innova with it after 7 years.
so what's the catch or punch line?

1K and 5K PMS is change oil lang diba?

I emailed kasi to TMPH regarding Global City's policy na mag sign daw ako ng waiver voiding engine warranty if I would use my own oils, which is outrageous. Manual states to use Toyota oil OR equivalent. Wala pa reply TMPH for a few days now

Bili na lang ako genuine filter and gasket. Plan ko Rev X All Terrain na fully synthetic, may discount kasi ako dito then check oil at 5k then change filter

Possible ba na lahat ng oil and ATF changes outside casa while still retaining warranty?

Better go to TGC personally and ask the SA, minsan Kasi sablay yung sumasagot sa email nila.

ang tanda ko nga... 1K and 5K are oil change lang, plus some "tighten this and that..". and whatever else the owner may have noticed that needs some looking into..

casa may not control or determine the quality of the oil that the car owner brings along with him, unless it is sourced in-house.
it's not an un-reasonable policy, if i may say so. if i were the casa owner, i'd impose it, too.
kind of like... sumakit ang tiyan ng customer while eating his baon in the restaurant.. then complains to the restaurant about it...

so what about the other casas that allow it? well, you can bring your car to them, po. ...golden rule po.. "he who has the gold, makes the rules."
i suspect, the ownership of the casa outlets may have something to do with the seeming differences in policy.

^ I would also understand if the oil says "ParticleX Fully Synthetic Oil API-CY" and comes at 1.5L soda bottles but sealed oils from reputable sources like RP, Mobil, Petron etc. eh bawal pa rin? I also dont like na I cant be near the vehicle to inspect what they are doing

Kahapon nga I texted my SA. 6.2k daw pag fully synthetic

"and i suppose you were there at the factory, when them sealed oils came out..?"
the point is, there are many fakes around.. products, as well as persons who may want to "put one over the casa".
casa just wants to cover its exposure, and make some money on the side.
if you balk at the cost, go mineral oil in lieu of the more expensive synthetic. it is not fatal.

    but i agree with you..
i celebrated my car's warranty expiration, by having my oil change at the nearby gas station, at half the casa cost, no waiting, and with full visual coverage. kulang na lang na ako ang magtanggal ng drain plug..

    Just called TMPH. Typical answers

    • Dealer's discretion nga raw if they let the customer use their own oil
    • Tinanong ko if legal ba yung waiver to void the engine warranty, at dealer's discretion ulit....
    • If pinirmahan ko yung waiver, would Toyota HO still honor their warranty? May warranty evaluator daw per dealer and would proceed from there
    • If I change my own oil using genuine filter and gasket? Toyota recommends daw their own oil. I countered that casa oil is overpriced and there are better options outside, and manual lists the recommended oil spec

I insisted that the manual tells to use Toyota oil or equivalent, and the customer can change his own oil as DIY. Wala rin pinirmahan na it will void the warranty, and I am only basing from the manual. Edi sana binago nila yung entry to "Use only Toyota Genuine Motor Oil. Use of any other brands will void the warranty"

Still waiting for their answer to my email so there will be a 'paper trail' ika nga
