hi mga sir.. need help about my 2007 innova (VVTi manual transmission).. had an accident hung June 12, crashed sa isang concrete barrier sa BGC.. eventually umangat barrier and nabasag din ang windshield.. nagawa na siya and i'm using it already.. ang mga pinalitan radiator, condenser, hood, front bumper, new windshield, wiper motor assembly, and siyempre isang malupet na latero because the roof ng innova slightly na deform..

my problem is that parang sira ang air vent.. smoke coming from labas pumapasok.. i'm not sure if this is really the problem, or if the fumes coming from the aircon or engine ang pumapasok sa cabin.. basta iba ang amoy, as if something is burning, or parang coming from the engine.. sa aircon kaya ang problem or sa air vent?

what do you think should i do? and san ok patignan 'to? maraming salamat mga boss..

marami diyang nagbebenta ng gulong na meron ding alignment.

Di ka makakapag-alignment kung wala yung aasakyan. Ang pwede lang gawin, pagkatapos maisalpak yung bagong goma sa rim, tire balancing lang.

30-40,000 km on average lang ba buhay ng Innova shock absorbers? I was thinking dapat mga 60+k, at least.

I know it's apples and oranges pero just for argument's sake, Civic ko, 77k km (7.5 years) and it's still using the original shocks. To think na mas heavy duty yung sa Innova.

shocks' life are probably dependent on how and where you drive the car.
they will probably die earlier, if driven off-road or on bad roads.
ours lasted over 60K, ordinary city driving.
exactly how much more, i wonldn't know, as my son drove 'er after that. nalaman ko lang at about 98K, when i drove 'er again. by that time, the front end was already playing basketball.. dribbling up and down over ordinary road imperfections and humps.

nilabasan na este naglabasan na yung sa akin recently..

nabasa ko na yun dito kaya lang di ko na siya mahanap ulit

try soap and water first.
if it does not disappear, try a small amount of turtle wax (or other polish) on cloth and gently rub her away..

Thanks. Predominantly city driving naman ako. Although, sa sama ng kalsada natin, masasabi na rin semi off-road.

Transplant lang from my Civic. Original gastos ko 6 years ago for this almost 80k. Included the HU, navigation module, TV tuner module, DLS Reference seps, Blaupunkt powered sub, etc. I'm after SQ kasi as well as the ability to play anything from iPod, SD card, DVD/CD/MP3, Bluetooth, USB HDD, etc. Lahat nailipat ko na sa Innova. This time, madlalagay na rin ako ng reverse cam and maybe, headrest monitors.

Determine what kind of smell is it? Is it diesel fumes from buses, jeeps, montero :D, L300, isuzu ,etc...? If it smells like vehicle exhaust, most likely that is diesel, unless you are trailing an old gas powered vehicle with white smoke coming out of its exhaust.

If you smell some burnt smell then its probably from your own engine. Maybe the casa forgot to put some parts back after the repair (which is usually the case anyway).

errr... i once saw a lowered adventure... it looked like a tree fell on it, and owner didn't bother to fix the suspension afterward...

one of the potential problems on lowering ur innova would be the possibility of your front mudguards consistently touching ur turns when turning. I've upgraded my innova's wheels into 18 with 55 series dunlop tires and that was my small issue that I can live nman.

Mga sirs ask ko lang! Ask ko lang sa mga innova owners and fortuner owners dito kung ano mas worth bilhin sa second hand 2009 fortuner 4x2 a/t diesel or 2011 innova E a/t diesel ? Price diff is only 100k. Sa fuel consumption? Sa ride? Sa mga problems ng toyota d4d engines such as SCV and sa turbo? Your replies will highly be appreciated. Good day

Marami naman nang 2DIN HU now na budget meal. But I suggest you stick with good brands... Pioneer, Alpine, JVC, and Kenwood. Probably an entry-level Pioneer or JVC unit along with front seps upgrade would set you back 20-30k.

Mahal sa akin kasi flagship model and it included all the optional outboard modules. Kulang nalang lababo.

Check everything, paint (ako dito ako maarte), freebies, accessories (if included), interior (kung may concern ka bang hindi mo gusto na gustuhan/ lets say may gasgas yung sa dashboard), of course yung pagpirma mo ng papers. Wag ka lang pirma ng pirma. Read it. Just make sure na nakasaad dun yung terms na pinagusapan mo ng iyong agent. And make sure na tama yung data on it before you sign. Papicture ka sa big key nila lol
