Meron na sa inyo naka-try nun Toyota Air Care service on your Innova?

Toyota Air Care Service | Toyota Abad Santos - The Dealer of Choice!

Aircon evaporator cleaning without the need to remove the dashboard/panels, and finished in about an hour.

Saang dealer yun pwede mo bantayan yung gumagawa, and stay in the service area (just to be sure they are taking care of your car and not doing anything unnecessary)?

    TIA.

That's the mystery...none of these signs ever happened to me prior to leaving my Innova with Toyota Commonwealth. And yes, that too is their standard reply--"It happens." I already accepted that they will not own-up to this. They just lost one customer. But hey, I'm just one.

i just replaced my 4years and 3month old Motolite Gold.

i had the shop check the battery charging with the engine turned on. halos 12V lang...dapat around 13++ volts daw.

aside from CASA, saan ba pwede ipacheck alternator ko? yung recommended shops niyo sana. around QC/Caloocan Monumento ang area ko.

    thanks.

I don't think evaporators can be cleaned (cleaned correctly that is) without removing the dashboard. These are just below the panel. The recommendation outside casa is to change the evaporators rather than cleaning them. (cheaper to replace than to clean)

they can, sir. i had mine replaced because it sprung a leak. the dashboard wasn't even loosened.
..had it done in banawe... beside the vioses whose dashboards were removed. yun daw ang hindi magagawa kung hindi tatanggalin ang dashboard.

cleaning the rear evaporator is something else.. removing the covers and the rear folding seat is not really complicated, but it is time-consuming, heavy and bulky.

Pwede matanggal yung evaporator by dukot method. Yug sumunod na models, tanggal dashboard na

pa up lang, possible reasons bakit may check engine light? napalitan na fuel filter pero ganun pa rin nagchechek engine after few minutes sa daan, pag kaka on palang sasakyan at nakaidle lang hindi naman lumalabas check engine light.

That's interesting to know po. Is there a way to see the front evaporators without removing the dashboard? Having these replaced before, I took out the old ones and cleaned them up, but failed due to corrosion.

Thanks to those who replied regarding evaporator cleaning.

Mukhang madugo yung cleaning process nga based sa info na binigay niyo na need talaga tanggalin dashboard for proper cleaning, then may risk na hindi mabalik mabuti yun dashboard or may something na masira afterwards.

We never had the evaporator/AC of our 2013 Innova cleaned since we bought the car. Palit ng AC filter lang every year. I was thinking if having it cleaned since it is already 3 yrs. old, or wait for it to lose its cooling power before having it checked/cleaned.

May mga nabasa kasi ako sa ibang thread na same lang yun gastos and effort of having it cleaned regularly (e.g. every year), vs. having it replaced in when it fails.

they removed the glove compartment box. then they reach in thru the opening and under the dash, to get at the evaporator.
it did not appear difficult. maybe the guys have a lot of practice.. they can do in ten minutes, what you and me need an hour for... having a slim, small body helps.

well, i never do pms on my auto aircons. i bring them to the shop, when they fail to do their stuff. almost always, the cause was freon leak. the solution, was replacement of the part. twice, 'twas compressor clutch. cheap. cheap.

otw to Baguio last Friday evening, i started hearing a sort of screeching/rattling sound coming from the engine bay when we reached urdaneta. quick inspection under the hood revealed what sounded like the alternator bearing starting to give out. continued on up to Baguio since it was already 9pm.

good thing may Toyota Baguio pala, had it fixed yesterday morning before we went to la trinidad. there goes my 5k though..
