innova 2012 at 60k, no major replacements just regular 5k pms sa shell.

napansin ko parang nagiging malikot yung manibela lalo na kung medyo uneven yung road. kapag straight road wala naman issue yung kabig.

if it's only slight likot, than that's normal.
if you have to fight hard against it, that's abnormal.

fuel filter?!! before 10K km?
i've changed my fuel filter only twice in the car's 100K km life so far. and one was because i couldn't get that damned fuel filter warning light to turn off!

No, Sir. 1st time lng nagpachange oil out of casa pro 65K na odo ko & 3yrs na din si innova. I decided na papalitan na kasi umilaw na fuel indicator. I tried to flush out pero nandun prin then I discovered this method sa net of removing the electrical connector from fuel filter while engine off, then switch on & put back the connector after 3secs. It works the light goes off. But since schedule na rin kako ng change oil nya & I really assumed na madumi na filter pinapalitan ko na and un nga confirmed sobrang dumi na filter likewise, ung fuel inside the housing.

ipa check mo shocks sa next pms mo. malambot or may leak na.

ganyan din yung sakin, tapos sobrang ramdam din yung lubak, palit shocks na ako sa harap. nawala yung ganyang feel, naging compose yung sasakyan lalo na sa highway na hindi pantay yung kalye.

after reading threads/comments & online regarding sa prices, i think mjo mahal singil sa akin. Mali ko lang mas huli ung effort ko magresearch bago nagpagawa...newbie kc hehe

yung oil filter ng toyota is around P400 plus lamang nung huli kong bili.

well at least nalaman mo na kung ano ba dapat mga presyo sir....either you change your service center sir or buy the parts at toyota then sa labas mo na ipagawa.

hindi ko alam. hinihintay ko kasing umilaw ulit ang fuel filter indicator.
after 105K km, the engine still performs like brand new.

Mjo pricey nga sir mga filters nya, may nakita ako cabin filter for toyota in OLX ranging from 500-700 lang. Hindi man lang kasi ako tinanong ng service center ng other options. but anyway, that serves as a lesson for newbies like me next time alam ko na!

And by the way, iba pa rin minsan pag nagbabasa ng manual. I've watched them change my oil, napansin ko 6L lang ung suppose na ilalagay nila so I told them na diba dapat 6.9L. Dun lng sila kumilos para kumuha ng 1L pa.

Consult ko lng my experience with my inno. 1st time nangyari. Last week we attended an occasion, about 1hr naka-park then pagbalik namin ayaw na mag-unlock ung doors. Inspect ko mismong key kung umiilaw, ok nman. I tried to play with it (i.e. alternate lock/unlock several times) but no luck so I have no choice but to "force entry" --- of course the alarm activated.

What causes this? Is it my key..early sign of battery deterioration? Eh until now ok naman na ulit...

Or mismong sensor ni inno? Do I have anything serious to worry about?

Btw, my inno is 2014 model (2yrs 9mos old) G Diesel M/T..

Did the other vehicles with remote control lock/unlock encounter the same problem?

I assume that the key is OEM,- did you try powering it off and then on? Or, removing the battery and re-inserting it?

err... malakas pa ba ang pag-ilaw ng remote? dapat ay kitang kita yan.

Upon checking it now, yes sir malakas pa naman! Hassle lang talaga pag inabot ng ganun sa parking akala mo kina-carnap mo sarili mong sasakyan..kidding!

Really, what an inconvenience..

Pro siguro replace ko na din remote battery as preventive measure kasi almost 3yrs na din cia.

I don't know how advanced the keyless entry is on the Innova but it may be possible that it is a security feature.

Many car alarms will go into lock-out mode when it detects what seems like somebody's trying to brute force into the car by trying random encrypted RF codes. Once it enters that mode, it will stop responding to any RF code for a preset duration, even if the correct key fob is used.

Think of it as typing the wrong password into your computer or website one too many times. That will usually result in the system requiring a password reset/recovery or lets you wait for a predetermined delay before you can try again.

Another possibility is that the area where you parked has excessive RF interference. That would either trigger the lock-out or prevent it from receiving the relatively weak signal from the key fob.

Yep OEM sir. Actually, as I got home I did remove & clean the battery & contact points. So far I haven't experience it ulit.

The keyless system works via RF, not IR.

Btw.. meron na pala unichip na pang vvti.. kala ko pang diesel lang unichip.
