i tried the kyb.. yung puti.
matigas... even after a few thousand km..
you might want to gamble a bit more and get the more expensive (black?) ones.. it probably won't be as hard as the whites..
or go oem (probably the best choice, and most expensive).
    good luck.

Bro. At what interval are you replacing your front shocks?

I replaced my rear shocks at 35kkm. There were traces of leak during the 30kkm pms....

Front shocks still feel okay.... Am nearing 40kkm

The car has 60k km in it. Sign of old age lang daw. Pero am thinking about replacing it na kasabay ng 4 tires

the front was already dribbling when we replaced them at about 90K.
my son, who had been driving her for the last 30K, wasn't complaining about it, until i got to drive it again,....

I was thinking dapat mga 60+k, at least.

I know it's apples and oranges pero just for argument's sake, Civic ko, 77k km (7.5 years) and it's still using the original shocks. To think na mas heavy duty yung sa Innova.

I am rubbing it differently, bro.

I rotate my tyres regularly,- like now,- every year for the past 3 years.

It looks like I will be replacing all (four) at my 45KKm....

    Hayyyzzzz....

yung sakin naman sir, halos 30k+ kms o parang every 2 years palit ng tires by pair

so kung may new pair ako, yun yung ilalagay ko sa front, yung dating nasa front yung sa likod.

(Hilux)

napansin ko kapag tinaas yung load rating sa stock tires, mas matagal mapudpud yung gulong. yung dating naka lagay sa innova 94 (205/65r15), ngayon naka 101 load rating (235/50r18) ako, halos 2 years na na walang rotation, more or less 15% to 20% lang nabawas. nakaka 20k kms na din ako sa tire set na yun.

The stock Yokohama A spec on ours is still thick enough NOT to reach the wear line at 35K kms. But the outer thread patterns are slowly becoming slicks already.

It has only been rotated at 10K, 25K, and 35K Kms.

I have the same scenario with our current original Yokohama tyres bro.....

To be honest, I don't have much reference. It was barely 2 weeks old when I had this done. Di pa nga naubos yung first full tank ko eh. But from what I can tell, I don't feel any adverse effects.

I don't plan to put an oil catch can. Since effectively wala nang EGR, wala nang hahalong usok sa oil galing PCV to form carbon deposits or soot sa intake. Kung meron man, I would like to think na minimal nalang. EGR blanking to me is one of the major contribution to promote engine reliability in the long run.

after makabit any maintenance na dapat gawin in the long run?

They're install and forget. Makapal yung plate. Imthink they should last the life of the engine.

hi mga sir.. need help about my 2007 innova (VVTi manual transmission).. had an accident hung June 12, crashed sa isang concrete barrier sa BGC.. eventually umangat barrier and nabasag din ang windshield.. nagawa na siya and i'm using it already.. ang mga pinalitan radiator, condenser, hood, front bumper, new windshield, wiper motor assembly, and siyempre isang malupet na latero because the roof ng innova slightly na deform..

my problem is that parang sira ang air vent.. smoke coming from labas pumapasok.. i'm not sure if this is really the problem, or if the fumes coming from the aircon or engine ang pumapasok sa cabin.. basta iba ang amoy, as if something is burning, or parang coming from the engine.. sa aircon kaya ang problem or sa air vent?

what do you think should i do? and san ok patignan 'to? maraming salamat mga boss..
