    bushing
    change differential oil
Timing belt pa ba ang innova? Di ba chain na ito? I'd just replace the tensioners kung maingay na.

Yung shocks, palitan kung sira lang. Yung fluids naman, mas fresh, mas okay

alas, D4d has timing belt, not chain.
when i had my front shocks replaced dahil nag-di-dribble na ang sasakyan, the kuripot in me opted for the cheaper white kyb. pues, hanggang ngayon ay medyo matagtag at matigas pa rin. i recommend you gamble and get the more expensive black ones. my guess is, they'll probably ride better than the whites.

hi mga sir.. ask ko lang po suggestion kung saan ok magpalagay ng tint, windshield only, for my innova? i live in Marikina so just near my place would be better, pero kung may masa-suggest kayo na OK talaga, kahit malayo (ex. Pasig, Rizal area, Quezon City, etc.) dadayuhin ko..;) Kahit medyo expensive, ok lang. Had a near fatal accident early morning of June 12, basag windshield.

same brand at model yung tires, nagbago lang yung size.

wheel specs 18x8 offset +40. walang sayad sa harap kahit full turn.

I just picked up this baby from the dealer last Friday and it's already begging me to upgrade the 2-DIN HU. But in all honesty, the stock HU is pretty decent. Plays Spotify and plays back Waze audio notifications, among others, from my phone via BT.

Still, I prefer the ability for SQ (with time alignment and the works) as well as video playback. I guess I will have to transplant my old Kenwood 2-DIN to my new toy.

Kasi, may buyer nang tumitingin. :D

    To all Innova owners,

I just noticed today that the middle section of roof weather strip (on driver side) about a meter in length is a bit loose and can be lifted by about 3 inches. I assume this is not normal. I have not placed anything on the roof, no roof rails, etc.

    Can this be fixed DIY?

By the way, our Innova E variant is 2013 model.

I tried pressing down on the sections that looks loose, but it looks like there is no form of lock on these section. Only the front end at rear end parts are securely positioned.

In comparison, the other side (passenger) is firmly attached.

Does anybody also experience this problem? And how were you able to solve this?

    TIA.

I have problem since ours was barely months old. I ask the casa about it and I am not surprised that people there "cannot" fix it. I mean "hindi daw sila gumagawa nun" hahahaha

Do not fuss yourself too much over it. I inspected it and IMO it doesnt not really have a significant function.

DIY repair is probably better. Buy a good adhesive from Ace (is there such thing as silicon-based adhesive?) and it'll be fine.

    Thanks Lew_Alcindor.

Very sad to hear that Casa does not know how to "fix" issues like this.

I'll just try to do this DIY or have it done by body repair shops.

    More power to you.

Best to check it with your dealer for warranty. Its not supposed to be loose on that part. Even though it doesn't do anything for the car, it may fly off and hit other cars. I also encountered the same problem with the roof weather strip, it looks deformed and the front part is not locking properly. So I asked my Sales agent if its possible for warranty, and they changed it.

That rubber is for aesthetic purposes and is used to cover the body weld/seam. If it's out of warranty, I'd use double-sided tape or better yet, a trim adhesive to fix it.

Thank you altis, oj88 for your suggestions.

I'll have it checked sa Casa if it can be done in a few hours. But if I have to leave the vehicle to them for a couple of days, might as well have it fixed outside (I have very little trust with Casa).

Good pm sir's!!! I am planning to buy an innova diesel. Should i go for the manual or automatic? With its crdi engine, is the manual at par with the automatic in terms of fuel consumption, yung "hatak" when the auv is loaded and in terms of gear ratio at around 100kph? Thanks

Personal preference na yan. Since Diesel naman, matipid pa rin kahit A/T. Yes, may ititipid pa kapag manual, pero kapalit naman discomfort.

Parang aircon and power steering... may penalty sa fuel economy kung gusto mo ng comfort.

Tipid dahil sa fuel cost, around 6 to 7 km per liter city drive.
