Last Sunday I push our innova almost to its limit when we're on our way to Laguna 1st gear to 2nd gear and so on almost redline ako nag shift tapos pag dating namin sa resort napansin ko yung tailpipe nya may mga black parang carbon eh gas sya.bakit Kaya ganon?regular ko na kikita yung tailpipe nya walang ganon nung Sunday lang talaga nung almost ma redline sya.

did your innova have a problem, that you limited your shifting to only 1st and 2nd gears?
perhaps you can just observe for a few days to a week, if your car spews out black smoke.. see also the oil level..
if nothing seems to be in disorder, then you can probably forget about it.

that black material could very well have been soot collecting in your exhaust tubes thru the years.. tinulak lang palabas ng redlining mo..

I mean sir 1st to 2nd to 3rd to 4th to 5th almost redline kase Hindi kase paging nagagamit...everything seems fine even my coolant level..baka carnon deposit? Kaso gas po sya?may ganon din ba gas? Sorry daming tanong.

ah.. eh.. eee oh uu..
yespo.. gas and diesel. they both produce soot, moreso if improperly tuned (e.g., rich mixture). but diesel produces more soot.

sir.. ano speed ng bawat gear sa ganyang rpm? d ko pa kse nasubukan yung sakin. Pinaka mataas ko ay 4k-4.5k rpm lang..

Over rev sa gas engine, normal lang sir iyon kung ang spark plug ay mahina magbigay ng kuryente.. Malalaman nyo nman pag may sira ang emission system Amoy sulphur at my black smoke.. Di lang nasunog ng mabuti ang gas sa combustion chamber kaya ang sobrang fuel lumalabas agad sa exhaust at naiipon sa catalyst at magiging carbon sa tail pipe..

kung petrol-fed yang innova mo kaya pa 180kph according sa owners manual
yung innova ko diesel 160 kph tried na

that's why, if you may notice, some gas boys will slow down the fuel delivery as the fuel level gets "near the top". they are slowing down, so's the remaining air in the tank can have the chance to exit thru the filler neck. if the air is not able to go out because it is being blocked by the onrush of incoming fuel, the neck gets filled up, with a large air bubble still in the tank. when you start the engine, nakakalog ang tangke at filler neck, baba si fuel at alis si air. then all of a sudden, you have space for 5-10 liters more!
the longer the filler neck, the more prone this can happen.

our PUJ drivers are even more intense... they shake the jeep to and fro, to get rid of the flat air bubble against their flat-topped gas tank. pag garahe kasi, ang usapan ay dapat full-to-the-brim ang tangke para sa susunod na mamamasada..

san maganda magpalagay ng tint? we'll be getting our unit in a few days and yung free tint na offer ng dealer is Platinum magic tint. parang hindi yata siya ganun kaganda. kaya plan namin to have it tinted outside na lang kahit 3M lang. how much do you think it will cost? thanks.

oo bro hindi maganda yung tint sa casa yung saamin nagunti-unti ng dark blue
wrap around cost 4k yung magic tint bayun yung cs yata pero may mas mahal pa

Magkano kaya abutin pag vkool? Lam ko it's better than 3m kaso more expensive. Yung sa innova namin dati free lang sa casa since first car namin wala kami masyado alam. Wala ngang tint sa ws. Kaya ngayon gusto namin maayos na lahat.

Compare ko muna yung price ng casa at labas.. kung same quality at mas mura sa labas.. syempre sa labas na lang ako kukuha.. otherwise casa na lang..

try ko daanan sa weekend.. actually pamalit ko lang naman yun kse nilabhan ko lang yung knn air filter at pinapatuyo ko pa..

Hello mga guys. San kaya makakabili ng murang mags 16inches for my innova J. Kung merong second hand na maganda pa naman. or kahit na 17 inches. Any idea about the price? Thanks in advance.
