share ko lang experience ko i own Innova 2012 E A/T.. last month i had my PMS for 20k my odo was *18k 1year since my last pms *10k

at first ok lahat, change oil, fuel filter, etc
hindi ok lang pina replace yung aircon filter at air filter which cost 1k+++ for an air filter only

tapos the usual inspect of the engine bay, 4hrs waiting time
then
after 3days nagpa carwash ako, kilala ko yung may ari, nilinis pati engine bay, punas punas
tapos sinilip nya yung air intake, viola butas ung air intake filter ko


tumawag ako agad sa toyota regarding that, sabi ko kung nainspect ba talaga yung mga kailangan I-inspect at talaga ba napapalitan nga mga oil, oil filters etc...
kasi kung na-inspect sana pinapalitan ko na agad, tinatawag naman nila saken kung may need ireplace, katulad nung break pads ko na malalpit na sa limit ng pudpod


nakakatakot dahil pinagkakatiwala natin sa mga CASA. sabi ng friend ko may ari ng carwash usually daw nangyayari pa nga hindi papalitan ng 4liters ng oil, yung iba hindi lahat sinasalin, binebenta pa sa labas kung may sosobra
with this experience natakot na ko, na dapat talaga may knowledge pag aralan talaga, or atleast may alam about sa mga auto

Change service center sir. I have mine serviced always at Toyota Bicutan, last tuesday just have the 20k pms right in-front of me since the service bay is window walls you can see what is being done on your car. They even have the old parts taken home by client (the air filter and the spark plugs).

sir crosswind, patag yung road. parang makunat siya i-shift. alam mo yung feeling? kung kumagat man, parang yung naka patong lang. tapos pag sumipa pabalik ng neutral, ang lakas. sabi nga ng wife ko masakit daw nga sa dibdib eh. pero napansin ko naman ngayon na idinaan ko ng baha yung innova ko, nging ok naman, akala ko kasi may problema sa bushing sa ilalin ng shifter. sabi naman ng mekaniko, imposoble dahil hindi naman may alog yung stick shift.

In some forums, 75k is the earliest statistics where timing belt failure occurred, thou rarely.
few only had experience this.
for peace of mind change it between 75-90k.

As a benchmark bro, our tci GS's timing belt replacement is recommended in the manual at 80kkm....; the vgt variant is timing chain....

I still think that replacing it at 75kkm is a good preventive maintenance move....

Regarding tire size po. I just want to have some idea regarding the biggest size of tire of rim 16 inches and also 17 inches na magfit sa innova. As my innova is J and steel rim 15", gusto kong magpalit. My options are 205/65R16 (dia 673mm), 215/60R16 (dia 664mm) or 215/60R17 (dia 690mm) if would fit. Pakibigyan na rin po ako ng idea sa price ng ganung size ng mga mura yet branded (Bridgestone, Yokohama). Sa mga jeepney owners (like me before), matibay ang Gajah Tungal (indonesian brand) but I am not sure sa high speed run, any view?. I am not considering china brands as I usually drive at high speed run (120, 130, and even 140 at times, kailangang iwas sabog gulong talaga). Mostly provincial and long drive use. Sa size 215, ok lang po ba ang offset (lapad ng rim) na 7"? And if I going to try 205/65R16, ok rin ba ang 7" na lapad? Very soon ay bibili na ako ng rim. Thanks po mga sir.

Heads up lang po sir bago mag regret heheh...

Offset has nothing to do with width. But very important po when acquiring new rims. It dictates how much protrusion your wheels get from your hubs centerline when mounted. Meron kasi ako nakikita mga suv na nag change rims na ang sagwa tingnan because of too much offset.

May nabasa akong sa ibang forum na 215/55R17 ay nagfit sa kanyang innova (lapad ng rim ay 7"). I just wonder kung ang 215/60R17 ay kasya pa rin, lalo na sa front wheel.

We also replaced the timing belt earlier than recommended. Cheap insurance relative to the cost of the engine. The belt itself is cheap, around 10K? The other things to be replaced (tensioners?) are a bit expensive.

Best and simplest thing to do is find a dealer who will agree to test fit the new rim/tire combo on the front. Once on the ground check for rubbing by (gently!) maxxing out the steering left and right.

Can anyone recommend a reliable OEM Toyota parts dealer? Need a new water pump. Ours is shot at 130Tkms.

Hindi na po kasi tama yung reading sir, nasa full pa rin after a 200+km ride. baba lang cya sa half pag less 10 liters na.

Meron na po ba dito, who has the same experience as mine... turn engine off; gas up to the brim (hindi yung auto stop), then turn on the engine for a few seconds then pwede na ulit ifill up ng ilang liters pa(normally mga 5-10L).

Gud pm po, ask ko lang po if there's anyone of you guys who had your car repainted or retouch by CAR MAGIC ok po ba quality ng service nila they do home service daw and 1 day lang compared sa casa na 3 days. Magma scratch kasi innova ko

Baka may problema float mo. Yung filling to the rim mo na experience, baka yung hangin sa tank na nakulob ng mag fill ka, then ng magstart ka nakahinga yung hangin kaya you can add again. Kapag to the rim ang filling, try mo ishake yung sasakyan mo habang kinakargahan para lalabas hangin.
