Is the innova drive by wire or still cable?

are there any other aftermarket air filters available and how much?

    TIA! ;)

I see.... will there be an issue if the ECU is reset when the new battery is in placed? doon sa isang thread kasi namamatayan ng engine during idle and that happened when the battery was replaced.

I have already replaced my battery during my 30T km last Sept. 2011 at Toyota Dasmarinas. So far no re-setting was happened. 1SM maintenance-free battery cost P 3,821.00 with 24 months warranty. Almost the same kung outside casa magpapalit.

    Additional queries regarding car batteries:

1.) The 1SMF, 2SMF are the sizes of the car battery itself. How about models such as N50, N70, NS50 etc... in Motolite car batteries, are those code relates to battery sizes as well?

2.) What is the recommended RC(recharging capacity) for an Innova?

Automotive batteries are classified according to group size 1smF etc, while N70, N50, Ns50 etc..The variants differ in ratings, warranty, number of plates and other features such as RC or Reserve Capacity...CA or Cranking Amperes.......AH or Ampere Hour.
the bigger the better if you got lots of electrical load..hth ;)

Ang mga matting pala ng Innova hindi original Toyota. Just discovered this a while ago while cleaning the matting. Yung driver side matting ko may plastic sa gitna kung saan naka rest ang heel ng foot. While cleaning the matting may nag peel off na parang tape/sticker na itim. So I peeled it off and guess what was written under it...."FOR MERCEDES BENZ..Made in Germany". At least imported..

With regards to changing your car tire, do you see to it that it is replaced by same brand and model of that particular car tire? may effect ba if you use other car brand (mainly because it is cheaper)? granting that you will replaced it with same OEM specs and tire size.

No problem dapat assuming ok quality ng tire na binibili mo. If you cannot replace all 4 tires at the same time, do it in pairs (front OR rear pair).

Take note of the load / speed rating and not only the specs.

For example on Civics and Corollas - 205/55/R16 91V

Yung 91V pertains to the load / speed rating. Take note of this sa original tire and buy something with a similar value.

A little picture to help understand (credits to the owner):

Tsaka ingat nalang sa shady brand - you get what you pay for - and nakakatakot masabugan sa highway.

Also, may manufacture date yung mga tires. Be sure to get newly manufactured ones. Lumang goma = tumitigas; unsafe.

    Nakastamp ito sa tire:
    (picture c/o tirerack)

    In the example above:
    DOT U2LL LMLR 5107
51 Manufactured in the 51st week of the year
    07 Manufactured in 2007

Thank you sir for reminding the load index and speed rating. I will take note of the manufacturing date. how about the type of tire thread? should i also consider this?

If you are replacing all 4, should be no problem.

If you are replacing only a pair, *dapat* wala but you never know since iba na yung wear sa harap/likod. *May* cause premature wear on either set since magkaiba.

Maybe same brand and model na lang i-replaced ko para walang problema. Btw, I check my tyre LI and SS, it is 94V. Nakasulat sa driver side door na 94S ang car tyre LI and SS. FYI.

    V is 240KPH max
    S is 180KPH max

    You should be well guardbanded...

Why is it that according to the manual that gasoline fuel filter should be change every 80,000km or 96 months whereas diesel powered engine fuel fitler does not need to be change periodically? what is the logic or wisdom behind this since both have the same purpose of filtering fuel.

On D4d you can actually change fuel filter element as frequent as you would prefer since the element is just under 500 Pesos. I know few owners do every 5Kms PMS with D4d fuel filter element replacement. For VVTi the cost of Fuel filter assembly will cost more than 3000 pesos.
