sir, may innova gas a/t ako na 600km ang mileage. so far i am not quite happy with the fuel consumption. mga 6 to 7 km/l lang. i read in the posts here na talagang mga ganito ang range ng FC ng innova. i can say na di ako happy kasi compared sa avanza 1.5 gas a/t ko and altis 1.6 gas a/t ko, malayo ang difference. mas magastos sa gas ang innova....just stating my experience here. others may have a different experience and opinion. on the bright side, malaki ang leg room ng innova which is what i like most about it.
*liv: You are right. Oddly though, 2.0 nga sya pero mas nababagalan ako sa takbo at hatak compared dun sa 1.5 and 1.6 ko. iniisip ko, mas mabilis nga sya lumaklak ng gas pero dpat mas matulin sya. cguro dahil bago ang car or baka ganun lang talaga kabigat ang innova..or maybe something else?
mas mabigat talaga ang innova.
simple law of physics: F=MA. Simply put, it means if your car is 30% heavier, it needs 30% more energy (fuel) to make it move as fast and/or as far as the lighter vehicle. Now, a more efficient engine may make the penalty smaller, but this little equation says it all..
I got 2010 A/T Gas. mga 6-7 km per L. Ortigas/Makati Traffic. pero 9-11 km per L pag hiway. Don't worry abt the gas, less PMS. No worry about dirty diesel, suction valve, dirty fuel fillter. Sensitive ang diesel sa dirty fuel and it's imperative to change oil every 5K. Go to Toyota C5 for PMS and you can bring your own synthetic oil. Just make sure to always tell them, "NO fuel additive, NO engine flush." Last time nilagyan nila ng engine flush kahit sinabihan ko ang driver namin na e mention sa service advisor na NO flushes or additive. But C5 gave us 10%off for 30K pms and free labor for brake pads kasi pinalitan nila under warranty ang leaking shock. My 10K, 20K, 30K pms were always under P1,800 with my own iridium spark plug and Mobil 1 oil. Changed at 20K, AirCon Filter P900. Changed at 30K, Brake pads that costs P1,950 with free labor Yokohama Pasig Aspec Tire 205/65/15 P3,900 per tire plus P20 per weight.
Sir,
Sa laki ng budget mo for a 2nd hand unit, you can even buy one that is still under casa warranty. Try looking at ayosdito.ph for units. These are casa-maintained and even some have D4D engines.![]()
I've pondered this as well since may 650K ako nun kaya lang I still opt for a brand new one since 9% lang interest rate binigay ng bank sa kin (300K loan, 18 mos to pay) at wala na din ako balak bumili ng iba pang sasakyan within 10 yrs time. Just my 2 cents.![]()
Toyota Makati Nov 2009, AVT GPS with TV double din P45,000 minus P10,000 for trading-in the radio so I paid P35,000 plus P7,500 for rear camera pero kinabit ang camera sa loob ng rear door glass. P28,000 langa yata yon. Easy install kasi plug n play lang. No cutting ng wires. Easy isntall lang naman yan. When I checked toyota makati installation, yong reverse wiring, e coconect sa rear passenger door driver's side door jam, don mag tap for the reverse.
Medyo mahina signal pag may mataas na building like in makati. Yong TV, I can't watch while in motion. Yong dvd nasira once under 1 year warranty kasi dahil sa mga bata. Di lumabas ang DVD. Just an advice if you do get one, make a copy of the SD card. I think much better pag mag portable gps ka kasi you can transfer your portable gps to other cars easily. I only bought this back then kasi di masyado alam ng driver ang MM. At least pag nawala siya, he can just press "home" tapos makakauwi na siya. Tapos P35,000 lang back then or $740 lang noon when dollar was $1 to P47. So good deal na yata back then :-) I still like the double din na plug n play na pang toyota talaga. Mas OEM look ang dating. How much na pala presyo nya ngayon sa Casa?
Meron po bang differences and D4D engine from previous model years up to this year 2012?
Thanks po!
